The Interrogation (Part- 2)
The Commissioner frowns at him, "Mr. Knight, you are not a lawyer."
"I can just bring one in but until then you can't ask her questions." Ezra smirks at him knowing he has the upper hand here. "So officer, do you want to continue or do you want to wait?"
The commissioner frowns at him, "I thought we were on the same side."
Ezra glared at him and said, "I thought so too."
"We still are!" The commissioner raised his voice to which Scarlett jumped in fear.
That made Ezra angrier than what he already was. "As her advisor I will only allow her to answer those questions for which you asked us to come."
"Ezra." She puts her hands on her lap to stop him.
Ezra was annoyed with her interruption but can understand her reaction. She doesn't know how the police will twist the case against her with just one simple question.
