Goodwill Event part 6

Imma be honest, I really don't like Mai...

Someone said since I fixed Maki's Heavenly Restriction I should do the same for Mai, that since Maki's curse bond with Mai is technically broken it should have broken the connection with Mai causing her to have alot of curse energy giving her an upgrade

And to that I say Nooooooooooppppeeee

Reason being... don't like her so no upgrade 🙅‍♂️

Miwa looks at the direction where the explosion was coming from

She then speaks out loud to herself as she was surrounded by level 3 grade curses who were slowly being disintegrated "It seems to be coming from Mechamaru, I hope he and Kamo win this."

She then sighs to herself knowing the probability of Kyotos team winning this year especially since Tokyo's team has 2 special grade sorcerers.

She then just lowers her head slightly as she sheaths her sword before running looking for more curses.

'In order to win this every single point counts, we have to win this, as long as I can be helpful that's all that matters' she thought to herself not knowing she has been the one mostly contributing to their teams score.

Meanwhile Toge and Panda can be seen running together side by side exorcising every curse they see by now the 2 of them have accumulated 91 points together since the round started.

Together they defeated  30 grade 3 curses, 17 grade 2 curses and 2 grade 1 curses

Now they are on their way to defeat another First grade curse, they continue running until they reached the curse spirit seeing the curse Panda turns on his gorilla mode and goes running at it at full speed and slaps the back of it towards Toge

Once it was on it's way Toge quickly lowered his neck sleeves and said "Contorted" and made the curse bent in ways it isn't able to, Including it's neck killing the curse for good and gaining another 5 points making it 96 points total.

While Toge and Panda continue hunting curses Maki was busy hunting some curses of her own. Until she unfortunately ran into Mai.

When Maki finished killing the first grade curse spirit she heared a sound of an object flying at a high speed towards her

Without even thinking twice about it she just reached out her hand and grabbed the object and just threw it back at the person who threw it at even greater speed.

Mai soon heard a whooshing sound which was soon followed by a sting near her cheek and as she touched it there was blood in her hands

'How, I'm pretty far, it took a while to find her now since she practically became invisible but I just had to follow the sound of fighting and there she'll be. I had everything set up so how did she counter that shot' Mai thought to herself while she continued to look at her finger in shock.

She then turn her head to where she heard the whooshing sound and saw the bullet she shot lodged right inside the tree with some of the bark just broken in two.

Seeing such a scene she could only ask a simple question in a low voice "How?" Not expecting someone to answer her.

"I'm just that good little sis"

Mai as soon as she heard a voice near her jumped back in fright

She quickly took her gun and aimed it right in Maki's direction and made her shot without any hesitation.

Maki just swiped her hand catching the bullets without any effort and just dropped them

She then looked at Mai with a teasing smile "Aww come on little sis at least say Hi first we didn't even get a good chance to talk last time since Ash directed the conversation"

Mai just looked at Maki with an angry expression "Yeah sorry for not greeting my sister that abandoned me and the very first thing she did right after abandoning me is Hook up with a random guy"

Maki just sigh while listening to Mai "I didn't abandon you i just needed to become stronger, I needed to go to become a jujutsu sorcerer and Ash isn't a random guy"

But before Maki could continue Mai interrupted her yelling at her "I NEVER WANTED TO BECOME A JUJUTSU SORCERER!!!. It's all your fault, always giving it your all, forcing me to do the same! Effort, pain, fear, I had enough!!! what's so bad about being used as a servant doing chores and living a normal life"

Mai pauses for a bit before softly whispering "why didn't you fall in the whole with me?"

Maki just sighed once again before smiling softly at her sister "Because that's not the person I am. I would have hated myself for changing into someone I am not, I rather live my life with it on the line rather than be under someone"

Hearing Maki Mai just bit her lip slightly and lower her head while making a sad expression but that quickly went away when she heard Maki's next words

"Unless that someone is Ash" Maki said with a blush while holding both her cheeks in embarrassment for telling her sister such thing.

Mai's expression just froze from hearing her sister.

"WHA" she managed to squeak out and look back up towards Maki who was still holding her cheeks in embarrassment.

Mai just screamed "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHILE WE WERE SEPARATED" which was quickly followed by Mai also screaming at Maki asking "and since when did you become such a pervert"

Maki just shook her head "I'm not a pervert just very much in love, you should try it" Maki then sat down on the tree before commenting "I always wanted to have a conversation with my sister like this, about boys, the things we like, and the things we don't" Maki said with a sad smile.

Mai still being resentful just replied "Yeah well we could have had that if you didn't abandon me and turn out to be such a pervert by some random guy you first met"

Maki just shook her head "like I said last time I didn't abandon you and Ash isn't some random guy, you should get to know him better, I know you would like him"

Mai didn't even reply back to Maki, she just unexpectedly shot her before jumping off the tree they were sitting on

Maki just count the bullet once again while sitting down. She then sighed for like the millionth time these few minutes while looking down at the bullet in her hand

She just stood up and jumped from the tree and once her foot touched the ground she disappeared from the view of anyone watching and appeared right above Mai while holding a fist just as she was about to punch the living daylights out of her she changed her mind and just did the same thing she did to Momo she Karate chop her in the neck knocking her unconscious.

And while Mai was falling unconscious her last thoughts were 'I forgot to ask how she got this strong so fast'

The only noise in the forest at the moment was just Mai hitting the ground.
