Years have passed and the empire still flourished. But the Imperial Family still couldn't move on from Yue.

Xuefeng was given the title of General because of his loyalty to the Imperial family by winning wars and conquering lands. Little did they know, it was all for him to forget about his precious little sister.

The princes went on their own ways and continued with the war towards the throne until the Emperor gave them a task of each own. To determine who will sit next, on the throne.

Xuiying, the first prince, was given the task to solve the drought problem in the Northern Province. Qing, the second prince, was given the task to manage the National Treasury. Yuhan, the third prince, was given the task to find out who among the Emperor's ministers were plotting against the Imperial Family. And Jiahao, the eighth prince, was to go to war with Xuefeng against the Hans who have been terrorizing the Southern Borders. The rest of the princes were either they are not interested with power or they are too young to fight against their elder brothers.

Xuiying and Jiahao have never been in good terms ever since Yue was taken away. However, they still long for the presence of the lost moon princess of the Li Empire.

One night, after a party from the Emperor's palace, Xuiying and Jiahao met by the pond where Yue usually sat when she was still around. The first prince already accepted Yue's fate but if he knew she was alive somewhere, he would go to the extent of bringing her back no matter what. While the eighth prince couldn't accept the moon princess' fate. He still sits by the pond on his free time, waiting for the arrival of the Lost Moon Princess.

"Yue was taken by the Great Heavenly Father Emperor. Let us accept her fate, brother," Xuiying said as he approached his lonesome brother who was staring blankly into the large pond.

"I only wish to see her before I go to war," Jiahao said as he fiddled on his sword.

Knowing what his brother feels, he remained quiet and patted his brother's shoulder. He looked up and saw that the moon was shining brightly than ever and wondered whether the beautiful Yueliang was there, sitting and watching over them like a true Moon Goddess.
