Wandering Sorcery 3: Seeking Allies

Deep in the heart of the dense forest, Sato and his father embarked on their first monster-core hunt alongside their companions. The air was thick with anticipation as they navigated through the towering trees, their senses heightened in search of their elusive prey. "Stay close, Sato," his father whispered, his hand resting reassuringly on his son's shoulder.

13 Years After The Rebirth Of a Mirage Mage Haruki Sato, Somewhere Far Away From The Nation Hueruivm, Outskirts of Hueruivm

As they delved deeper into the wilderness, the group encountered their first adversaries: a slime oozing through the underbrush and a menacing wolf lurking in the shadows. With hearts pounding, they swiftly sprang into action, their weapons glinting in the dappled sunlight as they battled the creatures. "Watch out for the slime's acidic attacks!" one of their companions warned, his voice edged with urgency.

Their mission, however, was not solely to defeat the monsters but to gather the precious loot they guarded. Six monster cores of goblins were their target, essential for their quest's completion. With each adversary vanquished, they meticulously searched for the elusive treasures, their determination unwavering despite the dangers that lurked around every corner.

As they pressed on, the forest revealed more than just monsters; a goblin horde emerged from the shadows, its inhabitants engaged in a mysterious ritual around a crackling fire. Sato and his father huddled with their companions, hidden amidst the foliage, devising a strategy to secure the coveted loot without alerting the goblins to their presence. "We'll have to be swift and silent," Sato's father murmured, his eyes gleaming with resolve. With a shared nod of understanding, they prepared to execute their plan! With trepidation coursing through his veins, Sato assumed the role of bait as his companions meticulously laid out their trap. As he stood at the entrance of the goblin village, his heart pounded in his chest, but he trusted in the plan crafted by his father and the others. "Stay calm, Sato," his father's voice echoed in his mind, guiding him through the maze of pitfalls and snares concealed beneath the forest floor.

As the goblins caught sight of Sato, their primal instincts took hold, and they surged forward in pursuit. With each step, they fell victim to the cunningly devised traps, "I-its working!" Sato exclaiming excitement as their numbers dwindling with every misstep. Sato's heart raced as he watched the plan unfold before his eyes, relief flooding through him as the last of the goblins stumbled into the waiting traps.

Yet, just when victory seemed within their grasp, a hulking figure emerged from the shadows – a general goblin, a rarity among their kind, accompanied by a loyal follower. The unexpected appearance sent a shiver down Sato's spine, but he stood firm, ready to face whatever new challenge awaited them. "Prepare yourselves," his father's voice rang out, his magical guidance now focused on navigating the impending confrontation with the formidable adversary. With their resolve steeling them for battle, Sato and his companions braced themselves for the next thing to happen in this situation.

Amidst the chaos of battle, shouts and commands echoed through the fray.

"Stay focused, Sato! Keep those bandages tight," called out one of Sato's companions, his voice strained with effort as he fended off attacks.

"Osuke watch your flank! That brute's coming in fast!" warned another, eyes darting around the battlefield.

"Sato, grab that potion and get it to Kiriro! He needs it now!" Ryuko Yelled, his voice tinged with urgency as he maintained the protective shield.

"Osuke, hold the line! We've got your back!" reassured a companion, rallying behind the stalwart defender.

With each directive, the group worked in harmony, their actions guided by a shared determination to overcome the odds and emerge triumphant against their formidable adversaries.

As the fight continues, Sato finally gets to finish up the injured ones and tries to help his father from the defense and fend them off with a sword. Thats when sato noticed a shining gem to the general goblin as he ran to the sides while the goblins were distracted and climbed up a tree. "I need to attack them from behind.." Sato thinked carefully making a plan on how to sneak attack this general he then sees another goblin holding a wand with a red gem on top of it with flowing red glimmering aura coming from it from behind the general goblin, thats when he planned to attack it first.

With determination fueling his every move, Sato locked his gaze on the monster core glinting on the general goblin's forehead, shielded by a menacing skull. Ignoring the flames engulfing the battlefield from Ryuko's powerful technique, "FLAME TECHNIQUE EXPLODEE!!!" Heard echoes, Sato focused solely on his target.

As the fiery inferno erupted around him, Sato deftly dodged the swinging axe of the general goblin, narrowly avoiding its deadly arc. With lightning reflexes, he darted around the creature, his sword poised for the decisive strike.

In a swift and fluid motion, Sato leaped into the air, his blade gleaming in the flickering light of the flames. With all his strength behind the blow, he brought his sword down with precision, piercing through the skull protecting the monster core.

With a resounding thud, the general goblin stumbled backward, its grip on reality slipping away as the monster core fell from its forehead, crashing to the forest floor below. As the goblin's groans filled the air, Sato stood triumphant, his breath ragged but his spirit unbroken.

With the monster core secured, victory belonged to Sato and his companions. Amidst the smoldering embers of battle, they stood united, their bond forged stronger than ever by the trials they had faced together.

And as the echoes of their triumph reverberated through the forest, they knew that no challenge could stand in the way of their quest's ultimate success,

"Ryuko, Kiriro, Father!" Sato's voice rang out triumphantly amidst the fading echoes of battle. "We've done it! The final monster core is ours!"

As his companions converged around him, their faces etched with a mixture of exhaustion and elation,

Sato proudly displayed the coveted prize clutched in his hand. The culmination of their arduous journey was within their grasp, a testament to their unwavering resolve and unyielding camaraderie.

With a shared sense of accomplishment, they exchanged smiles and nods of acknowledgment,

As they each display their hands, showcasing their respective monster cores, Sato proudly holds up the coveted 6th core, chuckling,

"Now, this makes the battle truly worthwhile, doesn't it?" Kiriro

nods in agreement, adding, "Absolutely, Haruki. Though it's still baffling that we lack a dedicated healer. As a mage, my focus lies elsewhere, and my healing abilities are rather rudimentary." Ryuko suggests,

"Perhaps a visit to Aquaheim could be beneficial?" Sato, intrigued, inquires,

"Aquaheim? What's that?" Ryuko explains, "Named for its affinity with water, Aquaheim is a nation devoted to oceanic worship. My grandparents reside there, providing us with a place to stay." Sato's father interjects,

"Well then, Aquaheim it is!" Kiriro excitedly mentions,

"I've heard the elves there excel in healing magic. Our journey there could serve as a quest to recruit a skilled healer." Sato's eyes light up with fascination as he examines the star-shaped gem of the monster core, comparing its brilliance to that of the sun, a symbol of auspicious fortune.

Sato Chuckles, and his father gathers all six monster cores into a single bag, while giving Ryuko the 2nd bag filled with food. remarking, "These could fetch a handsome fortune at the Adventurers Guild!"
