Meanwhile in the outside world l, there was an entire new problem going on. A complete 180 from the situation in the bedroom.

Everything was the typical morning scene with people hustling ang bustling. Until the earthquake hit. Then ensues the chaos.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Terrified screams of people. Running around like headless flies. The utter fear that grips you when something unexpected happens. The pushing and pulling of people when one wants to escape the situation and reach a safe haven.

"OH LORD! SAVE US!"

Then you hear the prayers of the people who believe in god. The desperate prayer of people pleading their lord and saviour to save them. The desperate voices of the helpless that can't escape. The voice that gets drowned in the stampede of people running like headless flies. The voice of the people who are dying from getting pushed down. Dead after getting crushed by the weight of multiple other of their same kind.

"WHAT ARE THESE CREATURES?!"

The horror when seeing a natural disaster. The witnessing of building getting destroyed by-

Wait what.

Then comes the silence. A deathly silence as if everything and everyone is in a state of suspended animation. So silent, one can hear the sound of wind blowing.

Staring at something. Staring at the monster.

Imagine a monstrous creature towering over the city, its massive body stretching higher than the tallest skyscrapers. Its grotesque appearance is enough to make your eyes hurt just by looking at it.

Its skin is a sickening mix of slimy textures and putrid colors, with sharp, jagged spikes protruding from its body. Its eyes are bloodshot and glowing with a malevolent light, causing anyone who looks at them to feel a sense of dread. Razor-sharp fangs protrude from its gaping maw, ready to tear apart anything in its path. Its limbs are thick and muscular, ending in claws that could crush concrete with ease.

The monster emits an aura of pure danger, making your heart race and your instincts scream to run away. It's the stuff straight out of your nightmares.

Until the silence was broken. By the sound of bones breaking.

Someone was dead. No surprise there since a lot of them were dead by now. But that someone died because they were eaten. Eaten alive. By the monster.

Then continued the chaos that was suspended by the sudden arrival of the monster.

"AAAAAAAAAA!"

The screams were loud enough to erupt one's eardrums.

"OH MY GOD!"

The shouts of pure shock and terror could be heard mixed in.

There was just all sorts of sound mixed in making for a very chaotic, noisy and nightmarish situation.

"SAVE ME AAAA-"

One can also hear the last sentences of people before they are eaten clean by the monster. Without leaving even the bones behind. One could even appreciate the sound of crushing bones and chewing had it not been a monster eating a human.

"KYAAAAAAAA!"

Shrieks of people that saw their companion getting picked next were quite piercing.

"RUN! RUN!"

You could also hear some saviours. Although all they could do is urge people to hide away safely. Hoping they are not next.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!"

"DON'T COME NEAR ME!"

Or maybe the cries some selfish ones trying to survive on their own. Not caring if another lives or dies.

"WHAT THE F***!"

The cruel fate of someone that got pushed can also be heard. It's a situation where one has to be scarified if you want to survive one minute longer.

Of course, the monsters roars of threat that humanity will perish; or the roar of anger that it's prey are running away; or even the roar of happiness of playing cat and mouse with it's food, can be heard in the background.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

Or maybe one would still prefer the terrified screams of people that are next out of all noises.

"WHO IN THE NAME OF GOD IS DOING THIS?!"

You can choose to be mad at your gods for giving up on you.

"YOU VILE CREATURE! RETURN WHERE YOU CAME FROM!"

But you can also be mad at the creature instead.

"OH MY GOD! SOMEONE SAVE ME!"

Nothing compares to the helpless screams of people towards god or whoever that can save them.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Once can argue that the screams sound better.

"SAVE ME! AAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Maybe you can consider both? It's the best of both worlds after all.

"GET BACK! OR OR-"

And you get eaten. I don't know why one thought they could make the monster not eat them by threatening it. But clearly the threat is just all bark no bite.

Oh there is one more sound you can hear in this chaos. The sound of silent sobbing. My personal favorite. After all, it is better to give up early since there is no hope of escape.

The creature is a different being than the monster. Different races and possessing different qualities.

To put it simply, the creature is like an employee working under a boss. While the monster is similar to a livestock raised by said employee under the orders of boss. Which is why the employee has higher intelligence~

"this is more interesting than I thought"

"no wonder my lord wants to screw with these ants"

It loves chuckling and leaving with a cold breeze. As one can tell since we have never not seen it not do that.

So can anyone guess who the "lord" is?
