The way your dad looked at me

"I thought they were just rumours" he said. she shook her head.

"I thought so too until I saw them myself. Your dad and I..we were enjoying ourselves that day in the park when we saw them. I saw then, the way she looked at William and I could immediately tell she's in love" cassian an arched a brow.

"How did she look at him?" he asked. His mom smiled and said

"The way your dad looked at me. Like they are only person on this world" cassian fell silent. His mom left after sometime saying she'd prepare his favourite dishes for dinner.

He was packing when he heard the door open.He didn't need to turn around to know that it's his sister. He knew by the scent that it's her. He was just thinking to tell her to getlost when a thought struck him. He don't know if his father will help him without telling him the details of their mission but his sister might help.

"Missed me already sister?" he asked.

"Like hell I would miss you, little brother" she answered. He chuckled and turned around.

"Why are you here then?" he asked. She leveled her gaze with him and asked

"That was what I was going to ask. Why are you here yun shen?" to which he shrugged

"I told you already. I wanted to just drop by" she snickered

"Did you seriously expect me to believe that bullshit?" he stared at her and she stared him down. He finally sighed and said

"I'm going on a mission just as usual but this time I'll be going for 4 months and the opponent isn't the usual type. That's all don't make a big deal out of it now" she went silent for a long time that he thought she wasn't going to say anything but she said

"Be careful okay?" she said knowing that she won't he able to stop him. He laughed and walked towards her. He said as he sprawled his hand over her shoulder

"Ofcourse I'll be careful. did you really think you'll be rid off me so easily?" she glared at him but a little smile tugged at her lips. He finally looked at her and asked

"I need a favour from you" at that she arched her brow.

"What?" she asked. He looked at her and asked carefully

"I want information on heron entertainment and its its owner" surprise lit her eyes.

"Why do you want to know about steve? " he raised his brows at her.

"You know him?" he asked. She looked at him like he's an idiot.

"Ofcourse I do, heron entertainment is our rival. Don't you know that?" he didn't know. Ofcourse he didn't know. He cared nothing about their comapny. Everything in his family revolved around the entertainment industry, he got sick of the attention. His dad's a director and also the chairman of gloryworld entertainment while his sister is a famous screenwriter and also the CEO of gloryworld entertainment.His father had asked him to manage glory world entertainment but he had enough of reporters and paparazzi all his life. Instead he joined in the military and since then his relation with his father turned sour.

"Whatever yun ri. can you do that or not?" he asked. That cunning and wicked smile curved her lips.

"Easy enough. I already have my spies working there." he grinned then and said

"Then tomorrow morning, I'll be leaving. You can do it right?" she nodded and turned to leave but just as she reached the door she paused and said

"You owe me little brother" he smirked and said

"I guess I do" she gave him one last look and left.

As she looked at the farm house infront of her, all she could think about was that she had to go home.

Home...

The word felt alien to her. She was standing on the terrace of the building opposite to the farm house which belonged to the cheif of triumvirate internationals intelligence department. Her legs ached from standing for so much time. She checked the time again and heaved a frustrated sigh. When is this man going to come? she thought silently. As if god answered her prayers she saw a black Bentley coming towards the farmhouse. Song lin grinned when she saw the man going in to the house. Looks like god is really listening. She went down and hid behind a tree silently observing the man at the door. As soon as he got in she climbed the wall and landed on the other side with a soft thud. she remembered how many times she and shiyu practiced this and how many times they got hurt. Silently, she walked to the other side of house making sure she stayed out of the guards sight. She looked up and found a large window. But if she had to get in she had to get past the guards. She thought for a second and took out her bow and arrow. She attached the small syringes she brought with her to the arrowhead and aimed it at one of the guards hand. She released the arrow and it struck true. He looked confused and shocked and was about to tell the other guard when he lost his consciousness. The other guard to his left who's busy talking in the phone whirled toward him. He panicked and kneeled down trying to wake the man when song lin struck her second arrow. He felt sharp pain at his neck and fell down before he could even shout for help. Silent as a cat song lin approached them. She was going to be in so much trouble if the other guards come this side. She plucked out her arrows from them and changed their positions so they would like they are sleeping.
