The mansion

"I don't think so" song lin said calmly. shiyu sighed heavily.

"Come on lets get inside there's a lot of work to be done" song lin nodded and they went inside.

"Are you alright celeana?" rose asked as soon as they reached home. Celeana nodded though rose wasn't convinced, she didn't press. Maybe the thing about her mother is bothering her. She looked up at the mansion Infront of her. After so many days of working individually they are finally together. It felt good to be reunited with the gang once again.

At first they used meet in cafes and restaurants and one day Yun shen suddenly called them and told them to drag their asses over to old square. Old square is a small town a little far from the city. They all were more than surprised when cass said he bought the mansion so they could meet up here whenever they want and ever since it has become their home. It started from meeting 2 or 3 time in their scheduled holidays to moving in completely with all their luggage. They rarely went home on their leaves.

The mansion was big enough for them all. Rose was a little more than shocked when cass showed her to her room. She could never afford such luxury in her life but thanks to him she was now living in it.

Rose's parents owned 2 restaurants though the business is good she can't say that she was rich. Her only dream was to serve in the military. Her parents first objected to the idea of their only daughter whom they pampered since she was little serving in the military but a little tears from her did the trick. Though she didn't have the luxury of driving around in luxurious cars and wearing extravagant clothes, she still led a comfortable life. She had friends in the military school but no one of them were dear to her heart as celeana is or as her gang is. She slowly emerged from the lower ranks to being the liteunant and then she met celeana. She was a private officer but she also worked her way up and was soon appointed as private first class.

When the alpha team was first created she always felt inferior to her teammates. She could tell everyone of them are rich just by their clothes even celeana but she still doesn't know much about her parents just that her mother is dead and her father was remarried. She didn't like to talk about her family. But with time she didn't feel like that anymore. Because none of them gave a shit about her personal life or her status. All they saw was her talent and that alone. She loved them for it.

They all sat down on the big U shaped sofa in the living room.It mostly occupied the middle space facing the big LED on the front wall. The left from living room led in to the kitchen which was also where they dined. Rose marvelled at its space the first she entered the dining room. The kitchen is equal to her whole house. There were stairs just beside the kitchen's entrance leading up to the next floor where 3 bedrooms are located while the other 2 bedrooms are in the next floor as well as the study room which they used to discuss work. The mansion also has a garden and a swimming pool in the back.

They all looked exhausted. Song lin's cooking helped though. Its been so long since they cooked. Zayne knows a dish or two and that's that. So cass hired a chef and no matter how he cooked it never felt like homemade one's. This time it was different. Rose ate until she choked up.

"What are you all still doing here ?" zayne said coming down the stairs. They didn't even notice him going upstairs to his room. He even changed in to comfortable clothes. Rose sighed. He was always like that. He hated to be lazy.

"Bro can't you just let us off for an hour or 2? we're so tired" rose grumbled unhappily. Zayne arched his brow at her.

"Tired from eating rose?" he asked. She hid behind celeana quickly. But one cool look from zayne had the demoness moving away from rose. No one messed with him in work time.

"I asked what are you all still doing here?" they sat up straight when they heard the change in his tone.

"We still have 2 days zayne" az said as he leaned back.

"And you know very well its not enough time" at that everyone went silent. It was true. There's so much work to be done. The demoness streched her hands and stood up

"Get up rose. Let's get to work" she said.

"Hold on" zayne said and looked at all of them.

"When are you guys going home? and how much time are you going to spend there?" he asked. Right. Home. They completely forgot about this. zayne spoke again

"It is no ordinary mission I suggest you show your face at home for a second" Everyone fell in thought. No one are that excited to go home except for rose. Sam looked up at the demoness and asked

"You going?" she pretended like she was considering whether to go or not, as she said

"No I'm not."he smiled and nodded indicating that he wasn't going either. Sam is an orphan and was adopted by a church father, and he is the only one sam had until 3years ago when he died because of heartstroke. Sam barely ate anything for 3 months after his death. Since then sam didn't feel like going home anymore, without his father the house felt a little empty to him.
