Same Ah!!

Everyone in the grounds are full of tension except for Ji zue and Lu chen. Ji zue and Song lin stood in the front line while shi jin, lin shiyu and Lu chen stood behind them and the soldiers stood behind them. Lin shiyu kept glancing at Song lin but her face remained expressionless. Everyone are fully armed and dressed in their military regalia. A Military truck came to a screeching halt at the front gates. the passenger door opened and a female in mid 40's got out of the car. She seemed stunning despite of her age. With her hair pulled in to a bun and a phone to her ear she walked towards them. Song lin and Lu chen moved forward to greet her. She came to a stop infront of them as she ended her call.

"Major Ji zue!" he said and bowed to her. She smiled and nodded.

"Captain Song lin!" she said and bowed yet her hands are tight in fists at her back. Her shoulders taut with tension. Liang biqin stared at her. More like dragged her stare from toe to head slowly, her lips forming a silent sneer. But she didn't say anything else, didn't even so much as nod at her before turning to Ji zue.

"So how are your days here major? Done with your inspection? "she asked smiling at him. Song lin's eyes flickered at that sweet gentle smile which always fade away when facing her. Ji zue nodded slightly then asked

"Is there any other intention in sending us here except for the inspection colonal?" he asked carefully. She shook her head.

"I don't know its colonel Zhou who sent you here...I'm not the one who command your troops right?" she said gently as if sensing his doubts. He nodded. Then she turned to Song lin and surveyed the grounds, the soldiers everything around her. Then her gaze slid towards Song lin and lingered there.

"Looks like everything's well Captain...Song" she said, sarcasm dripping her tone. but Song lin just nodded. Ji zue gave her a sidelong glance wondering why the hell is this woman being so quite.

"So..did you find her amusing major? Any complaints" Liang biqin asked him but her gaze was still on Song lin.

"I don't know about the amusing part but I've come to know the talks about her are true." he said quietly. Liang turned to him, her brows raising.

"what talks exactly have you found to be true?"she asked. Ji zue laughed but there's no warmth in it. "I guess you didn't hear any talks about our arrogant pretty little captain" he said coldly looking at song lin. Song lin stiffened immediately. The first change in her position from the start. behind her lin shiyu tensed up. Liang biqin turned to her once again and went up and stood a foot away from her "Arrogant?" she said. Her lips curved in to a cruel smile. She leaned in and whispered quietly in Song lin's ears.

"Is that how you seize men? acting arrogant to get their attention and then steal them?" she stood back and said again with that cruel smile.

"same ha!"

Song lin went still. As still as a rock. A roaring filled her ears. A voice... whispering, shouting, crying. hot tears burned her eyes but she pushed them down. No..Not infront of everyone. Only Lin shiyu heard and understood what Liang biqin said and her eyes went wide. But lu chen saw song lin's trembling fingers and the blood that now coated her hands where her nails digged in to the skin. He looked up at Liang confused. what the hell did this women tell her? he thought.

At song lin's silence Liang biqin grinned and signaled to her driver. He brought a file and handed it to Song lin. She took it with trembling fingers.

"It contains 3 missions but they're not to be done now. I'll tell you when its time." she said and nodded towards Ji zue. She then turned and went back to her car. The car sped off silently. Song lin loosed a breathe. But she stood there still looking towards the car that was there a moment ago. Lin shiyu went up to her and opened her mouth to talk.

"Take this" Song lin said. Her voice shook. Ji zue and lu chen whipped their heads towards her when they heard the slight tremble in her voice. But song lin's face is akin to a stone. At lin shiyu's silence she looked up at her.

"Take this and put it in my desk" she said coldly and shoved the file in to lin shiyu's hands and started walking towards the gates but shiyu asked "And where are you going?" she didn't turn back as she said "Out" shiyu grabbed her hand and forced her to stop.

"Out means where ? and how long?" she asked. Song lin whipped her hand back and glared at shiyu.

"I didn't know I was entitled to tell you my whereabouts miss lin"

Both Ji zue and lu chen stiffened at the tone and words but shiyu just smiled a sad smile.

"Alright Song lin I'll take care of everything here... just call me after some time" she said gently like she was dealing with a broken flower. song lin just turned and soon went out of sight.

"What's wrong? what was all that about?" Lu chen asked. She turned towards them. Her face grew cold as she looked at Ji zue.

"Do you want to know what exactly arrogance mean Mr Ji ? When she got to know about your so called 15days major acceptance and asking you why the hell would she bow to someone who became a major because he was born with a silver spoon?" She said, venom coating her tone. Ji zue's went cold as stone at the words but it was lu chen who spoke.

"Why the fuck are you bringing that up now?"he growled but she ignored him. She moved closer to Ji zue and said again.

"I don't care if you're a major or whatever but you don't for a second deserve her respect. I regret not stopping her when she warned our soldiers not to gossip about your 15 days major acceptance. you deserve every single thing they said. I hope you can leave the grounds as soon as u can" she then turned on her heel and stalked away. All the soldiers gave him dirty glances. Lu chen was about to chase after her when Ji zue stopped him.

"Don't" he said quietly.

"What do you mean don't? she just talked like a fucking brat infront of everyone and you just say dont???!!!" he screamed at him.

"I shouldn't have said that to colonel liang."he said with same calm.

"Yes you shouldn't have but that isn't such a serious thing fo----

"Didn't you see song lin's face just now? I think they have some personal issues. " he interrupted. Lu chen went silent at that. he nodded and said after some time

"I think you are right....you shouldn't have stepped in to it ah zue." he said gently. Ji zue sighed and closed his eyes.

"Can you help me find out what's wrong with them? because I don't think linshiyu will talk to me ever again" he said quietly. Lu chen nodded and said "I never heard her talking to someone that way..with her superiors especially. I think you royally messed it up bro" he said laughing slightly. Ji zue smiled.

"Are you feeling sorry for her right now?" lu chen said and grinned at him.

"l...l don't know...its true that she warned her soldiers to keep quite and even though she talked back to me she never crossed the line and I think..l think l crossed it today. I don't know if she'll ever forgive me.." Ji zue said his voice no more than a whisper. Lu chen smiled and blew a whistle.

"What ?" Ji zue asked.

"You are actually thinking about someone forgiving you??? Song lin at that ???....I think sky will come crashing down today.." he said and went off before Ji zue could say anything.
