Meeting part 5

Everyone turned and.....stared at her. Her face went as white as death and she was breathing heavily. Her fists were clenched so hard that her knuckles turned white. Sweat beaded down her forehead.

"Celeana!? celeana??? what's wrong??" rose stood up and caught her by the shoulders.

"You look pale...is something wrong?" Yun shen asked as he opened her clenched fists. That seemed to bring her back to her senses. She grabbed her hand back from yun shen abruptly and shook of Rose's grip on her. They both looked at her startled at her rebuttal. She turned to song lin and asked barely keeping her voice steady.

"Water?" song lin nodded and was about to get up when cheng xi spoke again.

"N..No just tell me where..I'll get it" song lin pursued her lips and pointed her finger towards the fridge. Cheng xi got up and walked towards the fridge. Song lin looked at the others. Concern lit their eyes. Even yun shen who always seemed to fight with her. Rose was still standing. Song lin searched for something to change the topic, she suddenly looked up at rose and said

"Celeana?" she asked with her usual cold tone. Rose slowly looked at her she then pursued her lips and looked at her team members. They were silent for a moment and then Yun shen spoke up.

"We will have to stay with them for 4 months there's no point in keeping this from them" he paused and when no one objected he turned to song lin

"When we go on missions we don't use our own names lest someone hear it by mistake and since we always go on missions it kinda became a habbit to call ourselves with those names." Song lin nodded and didn't ask anything else.

"Are you like us too?" she paused for a moment at his question and nodded. Lu chen turned to lin shiyu who practically didn't utter a single word in the whole time.

"What's your name shiyu?" he asked eagerly. she slowly looked up and said

"Cristina..." she said quietly. Lu chen sighed inwardly. It was like a light went out in shiyu when she fights with song lin. No one can cheer her up.

"What about you?" Song lin heard yun shen ask her. She dragged her gaze from cheng xi who stood rooted to the spot in the kitchen. She wondered what's going on with her.

"Helen" she said. Rose laughed and said

"Helen of troy uh? she was known for her beauty...it suits you..the name I mean. You look beautiful too." Rose said as she sat down and smiled sweetly. Song lin for the first time looked awkward. She's fine with threats than with compliments. she gave a little awkward smile. Yun shen giggled and leaned a little close to her

"You look cute when you're awkward miss song..ah no should I call you helen?" she glared at him. He just raised his brows amusement tinkling his eyes. She just...just stared at him. That inky black eyes which always seemed to search for trouble. That hand which never sit still. She couldn't help but laugh loudly.

"Does everything amuse you that much?" she asked still smiling at him. He paused just for a second, something seemed to flash in his eyes and then it was gone, too fast for song lin to detect. Then that trouble seeking grin was back on his face. She shook her head and turned around, the smile still on her face. She found Ji zue staring at her and...and she just realized she was smiling. The smile vanished from her face. There it was again, that feeling like she had no where to escape under his gaze, that gaze that seemed to pin her to the place. Celeana came back and thank the gods he looked away from her. She released a breath she didn't realise she was holding.

"Do you guys live here?" celeana asked her as she sat down. No hint of the paleness or clenched fists.

"Sometimes" Song lin said.

"Celeana are you all right?" ling xiao asked, everyone are staring at her. She nodded calmly at him. They didn't look convinced but they kept quiet. Celeana turned to rose who's still staring at her, face so tense. she sighed and held Rose's hand.

"I'm alright rose. I really am" she said in a soft voice that song lin never heard her talk until now. A little smile lit her lips as she stared at them.

"By the way, you still didn't tell us how you found about rose and celeana being in our team?" Lu chen asked shiyu suddenly. She looked at him furrowing her brows.

"Rose?" she asked.

"Oh right. Didn't I tell you we call ourselves with other names. Her name is rosemarie and we call her rose." shiyu nodded. He went on before she could say anything.

"My name is azriel in case you are wondering" shiyu shook her head at him. did she say that she's wondering? she suddenly turned to ling xiao and said

"I remember you telling me your name" she paused and tried hard to remember "Sam! am I right?" he smiled and nodded at her. Lu chen cleared his throat.

"I asked you something" shiyu nodded and turned to song lin.

"Captain song, will you explain it to them?" she asked, anger evident in her voice. Song lin clenched her jaw so hard it hurt. Should she really make a scene infront of them. She glared at her and stood up

"Come inside for a second I need to talk to you" she said and started walking towards the bedroom.

"We're in the middle of a meeting song lin" she said through clenched teeth. Song lin didn't even glance back as she said

"That's an order sergeant lin" and strode in to the room. Lin shiyu knew song lin hated it when she did this infront of others but she couldn't back down in this. She stood up and went inside.

"Why did you guys fight?" Ling xiao asked suddenly. Lu chen leaned forward and nodded

"Yeah! I thought you guys went crazy. I mean you fought as soon as you saw each other. why?" Even yun shen who's staring at song lin looked at them in silent question.

"You don't need to know" both rose and demoness said bluntly. Yun shen smiled

"Now now...what mischievous little crime did you do?" he asked leaning forward.

"we're not the one's who look for trouble all the time cassian" celeana said icily.

"The trouble I make is atleast something I can tell others about. I guess you can't do that" he said with same the same iciness.

"Can you guys shut up!" Ji zue glared at them.

"I really missed you a lot bro. They literally showed us hell all this time" Ji zue laughed.

"What do you think about working with them zayne?" Ji zue heard sam ask him.
