"I've been digging them up since ji zue Told us about the mission. But all I've managed to find out is that William herondale has 3 sons and 1 daughter. Even though william is still the chairman all the decisions regarding the company matters are made by his first son Justin herondale---"

"Wait, so they are even named after their foreign heritage?" the demoness asked suddenly. Ling xiao nodded. She furrowed her brows.

"Just how the hell did they manage to have such influence here?" she asked. Yun shen shook his head at her.

"That is why I said you should pay some attention to the outer world. Hye rin's family is one of the most wealthiest and influential families in our city and hye rin is the most successful actress in her age." Yun shen said. The demoness raised her brows.

"So William managed to marry her and established his company here?" Lu chen asked. Song lin answered him.

"No..first a branch was alreary opened here but a very small one then through a business deal their company collaborated with 'Hye technologies' and 1 year after the collaboration hye rin and William got married till then triumvirate has already managed to become one of the prominent companies of city z but after the marriage their stocks literally rocketed" Song lin said and passed some documents around. Ji zue raised his brows at the details. He looked up at her and asked

"Looks like they hit it off pretty well." he paused and gave the documents back to her "Well atleast the bastard is loyal to her" He said. Lin shiyu who was silent until then looked up abruptly.

"Loyal my ass, his first son is the only kid he had with hye rin. Though he didn't get married again he had the remaining three kids with his mistress" she said with disgust. The demoness chuckled

"Men are literally dogs" she said shaking her head. The males in the room raised their eyebrows at her.

"I agree" shiyu said suddenly. 4 pair of eyes stared turned to her. Rose laughed loudly

"Are there still deals going on between these companies?" the demoness asked suddenly. Ling xiao leaned forward

"That is what I don't understand...approximately after 2 years of their marriage Hye rin left the industry without a trace and then nearly after 6 months or so each and every single collaboration between the both companies ended and until now there has never been any contact between them." Ling xiao paused and turned to song lin

"Don't you think that's suspicious?" he asked casually. Surprise lit the alpha member's eyes. Song lin didn't understand why there are so surprised. But she nodded at him.

"Ofcourse it is suspicious...I'm guessing it is beacuse of their second son or maybe we shouldn't call him second because he was born in the same year and also same month as justin" surprise lit his eyes. Song lin tilted her head a little and smiled

"I'm guessing you missed that little fact" she said softly. He sighed and pinched his brows. She then turned to the others.

"William is probably messing with that women when he was married to hye rin and when hye rin's family got to know about this they cut their ties with them. But there's something I still don't understand....hye rin's family stopped getting involved with them but hye rin didn't divorce him, not even after he had 2 more kids with that same women....I mean even when her family couldn't stand William how come she still didn't leave him?" Song lin pondered.

"Maybe she still love him?" Lu chen said. Everyone looked at him like an idiot. He said again a little awkwardly.

"Hey..they show it that way...um..you know in movies n all" Song looked him in the eye and said suddenly.

"Lu chen...a women can stand everything you do, she may give herself up for you but the one thing a women cannot stand is their man messing with other women" she paused and looked down at the table " Love can't make you stay in this kind of situations". The air turned heavy and shiyu paused playing with her fingers but she still didn't look at song lin.

"Are you a philosopher?" Song lin heard yun shen chuckle. She turned and glared at him but his grin only grew wide the more she glared.

"If love can't make her stay there are only 2 things that can make her stay" the demoness said suddenly. Song lin arched her brow.

"Regret or revenge" she said quietly. they went silent then after some time lu chen said suddenly

"Okay let's say she's staying there for revenge. But I don't see what revenge she took in these 33 years....I mean the company is doing well william is doing well. He is known to be America's most successful businessman even now... then what do you think she achieved?" he asked cheng xi. He went on before she could say anything.

"Do you thinkshe's staying there because she's regretting something she did?" Rose furrowed her brows at that.

"The only thing she did which will make her regret doing it is marrying william don't you think leaving him will be the easiest option to forget that regret?"she asked as she looked at cheng xi.

"I don't think it has anything to do with regret or revenge either" Ji zue said suddenly, lu chen also nodded silently. The demoness went silent then she slowly turned and looked at song lin.

"What do you think?" she asked. Everyone stared at them surprise evident on their faces. even shiyu lifted her gaze to song lin. song lin studied the demoness for a moment and said slowly

"I'm thinking you are right" the demoness tilted her head to the left and smiled a little

"Well atleast you are clever" she commented. Song lin tilted her the opposite way and gave her the same little smile.

"Did you seriously think I was dumb like you?" Song lin said sarcastically. The demoness's smile turned dangerous.

"It is impossible to talk with you properly"she said coldly. Song lin's smile grew in to a devilish one.

"Don't tell me you think it's possible with you"she said. Yun shen slapped the table and cleared his throat.

"Can we get back to the topic ladies"he said in his silky tone.
