Meeting part 2

Song lin looked at her slowly.

"No" shiyu said again firlmy. Everyone is giving her confused stares but her gaze remained on song lin.

"Yes...there's no other place" Song lin said calmly. Shiyu shook her head.

"We'll find another way. But we are not going there " she insisted her tone firm. Song lin looked at her silently. Her eyes turned cold

"I never asked for your permission lin shiyu" she said with icy calm.She felt Rose shift a little in her seat. Shiyu clenched her jaw.

"No.." she said yet again. Song lin's face turned stony.

"It was your choice to come along in this mission and I respected it. I hope you can do the same" Song lin said with a tone that booked no room for argument. Shiyu's eyes turned angry. She looked away abruptly. Song lin turned to the others.

"Give me a minute. I'll confirm if the mansion's empty or not" she said and stood up. She picked up her phone and walked in to the bedroom. Shiyu clenched her fists under the table as she looked down as if the table is the most interesting thing in the world.

"Why did ling xiao call you cristina" she heard rose ask her. She looked up and found everyone staring at her except for yun shen who is staring at song lin. She appreciated su yi's effort to change the topic. But it was hard sometimes to change the mood. Fortunately song lin returned before she could answer. Song lin sat in her chair without looking at shiyu.

"Its empty....It has 3 master bedrooms. So if there's no problem we can stay there for as long as we need" she said. Shiyu kept fiddling with her fingers without once looking up.

"On whose name is the mansion registered?" Song lin went utterly still and shiyu paused playing with her fingers. Apparantly everyone noticed this.

"No offence but if its on your name we can't go there beacuse they can track us down" the demoness explained. Song lin looked up at her and nodded.

"Don't worry. Its not on my name neither on someone's name who's related to me. Rest assured they can't track us" she said in her usual cold tone. Shiyu still didn't look up from the table.

"But there are only 3 rooms and we are 8 members!" Lu chen said suddenly.

"All you 4 males can stay in one room" Rose and the demoness stated bluntly. All 4 males narrowed their eyes at them.

"I agree" Song lin said suddenly. Yun shen laughed and looked at her

"So merciless" he squinted his eyes at her. She was silent for a heartbeat but chuckled suddenly

"Don't tell me you want us women to adjust...are you that petty?" she asked raising her brows. He grinned and turned to them

"Well well ofcourse I can't let our captain song adjust" he said and and winked at her. She couldn't help but roll her eyes. Ji zue gave him a look like : Really?! our captain song?!!

"I'm also alright with it" Lu chen said suddenly then paused and looked at rose and winked at her. "We could always sneak in to your room" he said again. Rose shook her head and laughed slightly while cheng zi rolled her eyes. Song lin observed the ease with which they speak to each other. Even the demoness...her face is as usual cold but there's some kind of ease in her tone when she spoke with her team members.

"Right now..house and money is out. what next?" Lu chen said this time a bit serious. Cheng xi leaned backward in her chair and sighed heavily.

"Our first priority is .....we need to find out the whereabouts of the girls, who is in charge of handling the slave organization matters, the locations of slave organizations," she said in a breath. Ling xiao nodded at her. Song lin leaned forward

"Though we still have no idea who is in charge of what, but the whole of triumvirate internationals is controlled by the herondales" Song lin said.

"Herondales?" rose asked raising her brows.

"Yeah. William herondale is now the chairman of triumvirate international---" but rose interrupted her.

"How the hell did foreigners get connected to our city so much?" she asked incredulously.

"Because he married a Chinese women" Ling xiao said suddenly. Song lin gave him a surprised look. He laughed slightly

"Though I'm not as professional as you in spying, I have my ways to find out such things" he said softly. Not even a hint of arrogance in his tone. Song lin stared at him for a moment. He always seemed to have that calm smile on his face but his eyes seemed to always stay on guard. When he entered the house she felt him marking every room every exit. That look of searching for any threats is too familiar to not notice. Even when she caged the females she heard him shout.

Okay...so he would be the one to look out for hidden threats Song lin thought calmly.

"Yeah I figured that out...So did you figure out who he's married to?" Song lin asked finally snapping back to the present. He nodded and turned to rose

"You remember the farmhouse we saw on our way back here?" he asked. Rose's eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh my god. He's married to hye rin!!??" she shouted aloud. Cheng xi turned to look at her slowly.

"Who's hye rin?" she asked. Yun shen chuckled and leaned forward

"Sometimes you have to pay attention to the outerworld cheng xi" he said with demonic charm in his tone. The demoness looked at him with a dangerous glint in her eyes. Song lin and lin shiyu braced themselves for the oncoming battle.

"Whether I pay attention to the world or not is none of your damn business yun shen" she said her voice cutting through the air like icicles. Yun shen just raised his brows at her, amusement tinkling in his eyes.

"Why don't yo..----" he started when Ji zue suddenly growled. That shut them up. Song lin turned to ling xiao

"Go on. I want to see if there's a difference in the information" he leaned back and sighed heavily.
