FIND HER

Zayne sighed. So much information and nothing to confirm it. They needed time but all they had was four months.

Celeana, as if sensing his thoughts elbowed him.

"We need to take it slow zayne" he just nodded and looked away to find helen staring at him, at them. This was the first time she looked at him since last night, really looked at him.

"There's something else you should know." she looked away. She always did. She turned her chair around to face the screen, fiddling with her phone. The screen showed some emails addressed to several different members.

"Theses are the mails I found in his phone."

"Whose phone?" zayne asked. She didn't answer immediately instead searching for something on the screen.

"Here it is" she murmured opening the mail. She turned around then and said

"The head of the intelligence department in triumvirate. I managed to get his phone."

He remembered her talking about this to the colonel.

"I thought you were trying to get inside the company."

"I didn't have time, so I just stole his phone." He wasn't sure he heard her right.

"Stole? You robbed him?" he asked astonished. She leaned back in her chair and cocked her head to the side.

"Should I have asked him then instead? " she said flatly. " 'Hello sir, can you give me your phone so I could check your data' how does that sound to you?" Cassian laughed.

"Well, she has a point zayne."

"Shut up cass" he turned his attention to her again "What if he reported you?" he demanded.

Her eyes turned angry now. " You got to have a little more faith in our skill if you want to work together." she said coldly. zayne opened his mouth to tell her to go to hell when sam spoke, his tone a little uneasy.

"He just wanted to make sure you won't be discovered. We won't be working with you if we don't trust you."

Helen had to admit she was a bit surprised that sam of all people tried to make peace with her. She saw the way he looked at her back in the dining room. Like he didn't even want to sit in the same room as her. While celeana's anger was because of the mission, sam was angry because of the girl. She can't blame him. She behaved like such an ass with the maid. But still he was trying to calm the situation. So she asked

"Tell me sam, when celeana showed the articles why didn't zayne ask her if she was careful in her investigation, when cassian showed the transactions and all, why didnt he ask him if his sister was careful with the information? "

"Because they are my team" zayne said. "I don't nee--"

"My point exactly" Helen said interrupting him. " You have 5 years of experience with them but we don't have that kind of time to prove ourselves " she paused and her eyes seethed with barely controlled anger "which buy the way I don't need to, since you are not some kind of superior over looking my training. We've been doing this for as long as you've been doing your missions as alpha team, longer even. So if you decide to question my skills every time I offer my help, I can tell you right now that this mission isn't going to workout."

Zayne looked like he wanted to murder her. She didn't care. Some time between the argument, cristina had come up behind her though she made no move to sweet talk. Because this had to happen or they won't be able to work together.

"Alright" zayne growled. "I don't trust you but I trust commander zhuang's judgement, since he trusted you enough to send you along with us on this mission, I won't question you. But if I find out that we're in trouble because you were care less in your work" he paused, his eyes glittered dangerously. "I take it you know military laws and punishments very well."

She smirked. "Of course, I do zayne. I am a military officer in case you forgot."

He leaned forward. " Watch your tone captain. I may not be your trainer but I am the commanding officer of this mission and I don't appreciate talking back"

"I will talk how--"

"I traced it" cristina said, interrupting helen. They all turned to her except, helen and zayne who still looked like they wanted to throttle each other.

She cleared her throat. "It's him. The head of their intelligence department."

Now they did look at her. "I traced the transactions back to him."

"So, it's clear then. Justin's having heron entertainment watched." az said. cristina gave a nod.

"Move aside" helen said, cristina walked over to her chair.

Helen pointed to the screen. "Out of all the mails, messages and recordings, I found only 15 mails that had any direct contact to justin."

They all sat up straight at that. " Direct contact?" zayne demanded.

"I don't know if it's really justin but the mail is in his name. The first one is from justin himself. " they looked at the screen and there's only sentence in the mail.

'HAVE YOU FOUND HER?'

Helen turned to them, her face grim. "Each and every mail out of the 15 is about the same thing. Justin is looking for someone but he still haven't found her."

"Are there any pictures?" zayne asked. Helen shook her head, but opened another mail, this one addressed to justin.

MASTER, IS THERE ANY THING ELSE YOU REMEMBER ASIDE FROM HER EYE COLOUR AND LONG HAIR? SO MANY WOMEN HAVE BLUE EYES, I'M AFRAID WE WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND HER WITH SO LITTLE INFORMATON.

"Look at his reply." helen said clicking on another mail.

THEN FIND EVERY GIRL WITH BLUE EYES IF YOU HAVE TO, BUT FUCKING FIND HER.

Cassian let out a whistle. "Looks like he's desperate."

"Do you think it's clarissa? Do the other herondales have blue eyes?" sam asked.

"They don't, I checked. I thought it maybe clarissa too, but we have no way of finding out if it's her not." helen said.

"Besides even if the mother had blue eyes, that doesn't mean the children should have them too." cristina said and the others nodded.

"Anything else?" zayne asked helen, though there was an edge to his voice. She supposed he was still mad. She didn't give a shit. It's not her problem if his fragile ego can't handle a few questions. Casting her thoughts aside, she focused on the screen

"Here's the part where it gets interesting."
