Chapter 10- Aftermath

After the match was over both Keit and Arthur were left in recovery for two weeks Keit had received to see the king after his recovery, and so he did. The king's palace was extremely large. bigger than anything Keit had ever seen, it had stained windows, showing battles, dragons, and magic. there was two rows of large quartz pillars, each row containing 6 pillars, and a red carpet leading to the kings throne. Keit was amazed, at the room before him. His eyes soon met the king's. and he looked at him while walking towards him. he then knelled in his presence, as one would. The king announced him as " Sir Keit" and gave him his reward of ten million gold. Keit thanked the king and was soon leaving the palace, before the king stopped him, and asked him of a favor. Keit accepted, and left, he went to his old hotel room where Ren and Leon were. Ren and Leon, almost simultaneously asked Keit how meeting with the king went. They had been surprised to here Keits answer, and how the king had tasked him of a new mission. Of course both Ren and Leon asked to accompany him, and Keit agreed, but first they needed supplies, so the next day they hit the market. While in the city they had purchased many new supplies, weapons, armor, and potions. Keit the young boy he was though, wanted to purchase one more thing, and of course, he did. Keit was now in possession of a two story tavern. Of course the boy had no current use of it, he just wanted a base of operations. and it would do, it would also make him money while he was gone, of course he had to get it prepared and hire staff, of course it wasn't a problem for him though, he just threw his name around and explained how he won the 'Arena of Gods' and plenty of people applied for work. Of course he had lied about winning the match, but that was a small detail to the boy. he then turned the top floor into a sort of living area for his newly found party. The next day he met with the king and showed him his party members, and then they left for the adventure they had ahead of them, exterminating the dragon cult, that lied in a forest in the mountains.
