Theme Park (2)

I point at an attraction beside the carousels which is a water slide. I look at Noah with full of excitement then I take Noah with me to the queue.

"I don't bring any spare clothes. . ."

"It's ok~"

We wait for around 15 minutes until finally it's our turn to ride. When the ride almost reach the highest part, I hold the safety bar tightly and the water splash right to my face. I look at Noah then I can see he's all wet, just like me. I laugh at him and he just wipe the water away.

"Let's get outta here, I don't want to catch a cold."

We try to find any dryer nearby and there are two dryer near the water slide. Since we don't have any spare clothes, we decide to use the dryer instead. I insert some money to the dryer and hot air come out from the machine and after a minute, all of my clothes are dry. I step out from the dryer and I smile happily.

"Look at that smile." Noah suddenly pinch my cheek.

"What?"

"Cute."

Then he walk to a nearby food stall nearby. I follow him to the food stall and he's buying some drink both of us. He give me the drink and I drink it. It's so refreshing since the weather is quite hot.

"What do you want to try next?"

"Do you know? You can see the sunset from this theme park and it's almost time for sunset, do you want to see it?"

"Lead the way."

I nod then Noah stand up, offer his hand to me. I take his hand and we walk together. He lead us to the bay near the theme park. When we reach there, I can see many people have gathered just to watch the sunset. I look at my phone and I see it's almost the time. I prepare my camera so I can take some photos. Finally it's time for the sunset, I take some photos then I watch the sun until it disappear completely.

"Noah?"

"Yes."

"The sun was going to the ocean."

"Yes, it's like it's going into the water."

"I agree."

"Anyway, do you want to take the last ride?"

"Sure thing, what is it?"

Noah cover my eyes with his hand and guide me to a place. I walk for a while until finally I stop and he open my eyes.

"This."

It's a ferris wheel and since the sun has disappear, the employee turn the lights on and the ferris wheel is decorated beautifully by the lights.

"Let's go."

We get into one of the room and the ferris wheel move slowly. I sit in front on Noah then I take my phone to take a picture of the scenery outside the window. It's so beautiful and the ferris wheel keep moving until finally it reach the highest place. I'm busy taking a picture and suddenly, Noah take my phone away and put it in his pocket.

"Hey! Give me back my phone."

I try to take it back but he pull me closer and I sit on his lap. His hand stroke my hair as he look at me while smiling warmly.

"Can I have my phone back?"

"No."

"Meanie. . ."

"I will give it back but can I ask for something?"

I let out a deep sigh, "What is it?"

"This."

He move his face closer to my face and I spontaneously press my lips against his lips softly. I feel the ferris wheel moving so slow, I place my arms around his neck and I can feel my cheek is burning. I have kissed Noah several times but this time it feels so different. Then I slowly pull my face and look at him.

"Well, well, well, I didn't expect that, Sera."

"I thought you want that."

"No, I want to ask for a promise."

"A promise?"

"Yes. Promise me that you will take care of yourself, you will never let anyone harm you and promise me you will never be the next Candace."

"I promise."

"Good, anyway, I like that."

"T-That?"

"The kiss. Can I ask more?"

"No."

I stand up and go back to my seat. I remember that Noah still have my phone so I extend my hand,

"My phone."

He take out my phone from his pocket then give it to me. The ferris wheel slowly move and take us back to the ground. I step out from the ferris wheel and walk to the park entrance. I walk to the bus stop with Noah and wait for a while until the bus finally show up. I get into the bus then I sit near the front door and Noah sit with me.

I look outside the window and in my mind I keep thinking about the kiss. I try not to think about it until suddenly I realize that the path that the bus is taking, is not the path to the dorm. It's going further and further. I stand up and talk to the bus driver,

"Excuse me, this bus is going to stop at the "XY" University right? I know there's only one bus that stop at the amusement park. Where are we going?"

"Just sit down, miss. You will arrive safely at the last bus stop."

I go back to my seat and tell Noah about it. He realize that something's off so he walk to the driver and try to talk to him. Suddenly the bus stop moving and the driver take off his hat and I see a familiar face sitting at the driver seat and I immediately stand up upon seeing the familiar person.

"Well well well, this bus will never return to the university, instead, this bus will take you to a place that you never know and I'm so lucky both of you are riding this bus. Please enjoy the trip."

The person that sit on the driver's seat this whole time is Benjamin.
