Chapter Four: Hardships and Regrets

Lily's POV

I saw my mother and father have been pushed to the end of the cliff. They are the only ones who have cared about me since I was little. Now that they are gone I don't think I can live on.

They put me in a dark room I was questioned every day. Wanting to know who is the mastermind of the doings. But I do not know to begin with. The real culprit must be laughing right now. That I fall with their antics. I do not have news of what happened to Jazzen.

" I am praying to the moon goddess for his safety". As I close my eyes I remember the days that I was with them, my parents despite not biologically their daughter. They took care of me and did not abandon me.

The door opens and a woman with a wicked smile pops out of it.

" Look what we have here the werewolf or should I say useless because she can not shift". Catherine scorned at my direction.

" Y-you bitch! What did I do to you that you have a grudge against me? I look at her angrily.

" You Lily? That is your ugly name? If you just live peacefully and do not claim what was mine in the beginning. Your parents should be alive right now". She throws the bag that she was holding at my head.

Blood flows down my face. The edge of the bag has a sharp metal.

" What do you want? I do not have any loved ones anymore".

I said to her as I closed my eyes looking at the pathetic face that Catherine only relying on his father.

" Just simple I want you to be treated like trash in this pack. I am the only woman Jazzen deserves by his love", Catherine said.

" You are a lunatic, to begin with. You can not force someone to love you. They should be willing to take on a relationship ". I said to her I could not believe her. She is a crazy lycanthrope.

" Wait I have a revelation for you. I am the one who shot Jazzen and I have been planning it in the long run. You can not believe it, don't you? I am not only gorgeous but a genius also".She laughed loudly as her face was full of makeup.

" Moon goddess will be punishing you right now! Karma will hit you hard. You only not take my parent's lives but falsely accused me of hurting Jazzen".

I stood up but I stumbled as I remembered that my legs had been chained up.

" Look what can you do? You are the pitiful here and I am not. You are the most stupid one for being played by me". Catherine grins and laughs.

I just gritted my teeth and the hatred that building up in me. What can I do? I am hopeless right now. One day they will regret what did they to me.

" I have a bad news for you. You are not now enrolled at the school. The pack decided that they would just make you work here for the rest of your life! Hahahaha serves you right fool"! Catherine bid him goodbye with a grin that irritated me.

Right now I will be working for the rest of my life. What did I do to deserve this? Is it wrong that you want to be loved? My parents are gone. Tears flow down my face. Omega's life sure is not important.

They are just working and not being valued at all.

TWO MONTHS PASSED;

One week from now is the celebration of the birthday of Jazzen. Starting that he recovered from the gunshot. I did not have the opportunity to approach him.

They are werewolf guarding me once I am doing my duty at the pack.

Cleaning the hallways, washing dishes of the whole house, and working nonstop at all.

I am so excited for him to see me again. It hurts me to know that he did not want to see me.

His 20th birthday is the day and he will find his Luna. I am praying to the moon goddess that I will be his mate.

" You start cleaning this area spotless or else you can not eat". The in charge of the cleaning said to me. She is Meda the head of the Omega's here.

" Yes, ma'am I will do that immediately ". I grab the mop and start cleaning diligently. Did I mention that I am only receiving two meals a day? Believe it or not, there have been several changes in my life.

The only mystery to me is I have a crown tattoo on my left arm. The crown color is like a golden crown it just appeared recently. I did not know how this appeared mysteriously but I am certain I hope for a good reason.

Once done cleaning we are informed to clean in the the dining room. I was walking slowly and all I could hear were the words that they were spouting at me.

They took hatred at me once they found out what happened to the next Alpha.

Sometimes they throw tomatoes at my face. Water is also one of their uses when harassing me. Right now I clean the chairs and tables.

A loud noise can be heard approaching in our direction. The door opened and the one who was talking loudly was Catherine while clinging to the arms of Jazzen. I did stare at Jazzen but his gaze only at me angrily.

"Jazzen I am so excited for your birthday. I know that I am your mate. I will be the next Luna of this pack and not just some random not important one". She smirked as she gazed in my direction.

She put down her hands clinging to Jazzen. Walks in my direction and starts harassing me.

"Now you filthy rat dare to show your ugly face at me! Now that Jazzen is how well you take the opportunity to steal him". She yelled at the top of her lungs.

" Jazzen I did not do anything to harm you. I waited patiently at our meeting spot. All I could hear was the gunshot and then I discovered you unconscious lying on the ground". I pushed Catherine and ran towards Jazzen. I kneeled and held his pants.

I thought he would hear my reasoning but he just kicked me in my ribs.

" I do not know anything of what nonsense you are saying. I have feelings for you is the foolishness of yours. Now do not show your face to me, murderer! Jazzen said towards me.
