Reevaluation (2)

Today was the second day of the reevaluation and I was too tired, as to do anything else.

Yesterday the system told me that all my actions were trash and that the viewers didn't like them, but I didn't bother changing anything as I already had my actions planned.

It also said something about new changes but I will probably discover them later on.

Today I had already killed around 50 contractors and it was certainly getting annoying.

I expected maybe 100 or 200 but we were already at the 400s, like I didn't it would have been this many.

And because of that, many parents were arguing with the Round Table and with me, about the deaths of the students but they were easily put down.

They couldn't really speak up a lot after their children were discovered to be in cahoots with the demons, as they could be accused as well.

"Next"

"Here, Noel Sea has arrived"

"Quite enthusiastic are you?"

"Mhm"

"Can I ask why? As you know, all the other students have left crying or dead"

"Because I want to see, what is it that made everyone including Arthur shiver in fear"

"Ha...HAHAHAAHA"

'Right, Noel was always like that.'

"What something funny?"

"Don't worry about it"

I then began to check some papers but it wasn't actually anything special, I was just searching for her name to see if I have to check it out with an x, to mark her as a contractor or not.

After a few seconds, I told Noel to get ready, which she did by breathing in and out.

I noticed that when using revenge, I was able to know if someone was a contractor or not because previously I had marked every demon or anyone helping demons as a target of revenge.

The system took care of everything and was able to identify if they were helping the demons or not, making it easy to know if they were a contractor.

I also discovered that I could just mark anyone as a target of revenge, so I was able to easily put trackers on the main characters and also cause them fear, just for fun.

[Bastard, stop using the fear option on everyone]

'Sigh'

I could see that Noel, was already on the ground thinking about her life decisions but I didn't bother to help her, as I already knew she would get up.

"Again"

"Huh?"

'Is she crazy?'

"I want to do it again"

*Sigh

"Monica come get your student out of here!"

I knew that Noel was a battle junky and someone that would try to overcome anything at any moment she could, but I didn't think she would want to repeat the fear again.

Also, if I'm not wrong she did have masochistic tendencies but we can leave that to the side.

Monica came and dragged Noel out using her telekinesis, although there was resistance, it wasn't actually possible to resist Monica's telekinesis.

I kept evaluating the student's talents until it was finally time for another main character, Ciel.

She came inside, and I could see suspicion and fear within her eyes, but I didn't bother and just did the test.

Unlike Noel, Ciel never said a single word and after the fear, she just stood up and stepped out without giving any trouble.

I then kept checking every student to see their potential talent and if they were a contractor and found out, that the academy had 8 (S) ranked potential students, including Ciel and Noel.

Aso would make it 9 but he was currently absent because of his father's death.

After I was done, I called all first-year teachers to attend to the conference room on the fifth floor.

At this point, the teachers didn't bother to correct my actions or oppose my actions as they probably feared the fact, that I could just kill them and no one would bat an eye.

I opened the door to the conference room and could already see, that everyone was sitting down.

Giving a small smile and handshake to everyone, I went and sat down.

"I think everyone can guess as to why I called you all here, right"

"For the class divisions?"

"Correct"

I then explained that all (S) ranked and (SS) ranked, will be in one class and the other classes would be the same as before.

"But shouldn't we have 25 students per class?"

"No, Monica will be assigned to the special class and I will also assist the students with their growth, I don't need a bunch of (A) class students, that will delay their growth"

"We don't have to rush their growth, human interaction is the priority for students", Some teacher responded.

"No, the priority for students in this academy has always been their growth, and I wish we had as much time, as we wished for, but that isn't the case"

"What d-"

Before anyone could say anything, I stood up and grabbed a cup of coffee.

"9 years", I said.

"What is going to happen in 9 years?"

"...The event in which we will need all of the human heroes"

"Wha-"

"That will be all for today's meeting"

"Headmaster!"

[Revenge]

"Agh"

I could see that all of the teachers had fallen to the ground, I stared at all of them with an indifferent expression, and told them to go, which they did after a little bit more resistance.

After everyone had left the conference room, I checked all of the students who would be going to the special class tomorrow.

Apart from the main 4, I found 6 more (S) rankers, that could become helpful in the future with enough training and resources.

The reason why most of these didn't receive higher grades with the orb, was because they lacked talent, mana control, or other things.

But from tomorrow onwards, I will help them in the best manner possible to provide them, with the best education and nurturing possible.

Even to Aso, as I can even wait to have more summons for Baggy.

Yesterday was the last day of the reevaluations and we were assigned to new classes, although Monica was still going to be our teacher.

I was on my way to the teacher's training ground, to get some morning training done.

The only thing, that was a little saddening was the fact that our break was cut extremely short because the headmaster said, that if a little blood made kids run away, then they were unneeded.

This caused a lot of controversy in the news but ultimately most agreed with the headmaster, as he even found out about almost 500 contractors just within the first year.

Many have praised him as a hero but some call him a maniac killer, that will even kill normal students in the guise of calling them, contractors.

Students also greatly feared the headmaster but no one could deny his talents and views, he was able to kill even the previous executives in seconds and the contractors that transformed didn't even stand a chance.

Not only that but he discovered all contractors within the first year, in a matter of two days, but what caught most by surprise was the barrier erected around the academy.

From the rumors, it was said that the headmaster killed an (SS) ranked magician and made him into his summon, which allowed him to get an (SS) ranked magician with infinite mana to make a barrier around the academy.

It wasn't long until I arrived and opened the doors that lead to the training ground only to find, Monica, Ciel, and Noel, all talking to the headmaster.

Everyone turned their attention toward me and soon faces of relief appeared on everyone's faces.

"Arthur you are finally here!", Ciel screamed.

They all rushed to me, and I thought that maybe the headmaster was doing some sort of unethical action but that wasn't the case at all.

Apparently, he just came here to reveal some information and needed everyone to be here so he could finally speak.

After hearing everyone's explanations, I approached the headmaster and asked him, what he needed to say.

"Oh, it is nothing really important"

"Nothing important?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you, that from now on, this morning training will be mandatory for all special class students so I hope you guys can help the others train"

"Uh? I don't mind but shouldn't you ask teacher Monica about it?"

"Hmm, maybe, but I wanted to inform you guys as I want you all to build a relationship with the other students, as interactions are important for growing children"

"Aren't you also a child?"

"Huh?"

"Nvm"

The headmaster smiled and then took out a book.

"What's the book for?", Monica asked.

"A grimoire with the ability to grant the talent of telekinesis"

"Huh?", Everyone was in shock at the news of such a grimoire.

"I want to give it to you, Monica, and I want you to give it to one of the students that you see fit, after all, you are the greatest user of telekinesis, aren't you?"

"Ah? My skills don't come close to yours, headmaster"

The headmaster once again smiled and disappeared into the shadows.
