"Why don't you just leave them" a man asked.
"I still believe that someday, they will change" an old man replied.
"They hunger for power and wealth, that fact cannot be changed" the man said as he sat down on the ground.
"Yes, it is a fact, but not all" the old man answered as he sat down near the man.
"What do you mean?" the man asked.
"Soon, you will know. Some are like stars, glittering in the darkness" the old man replied.

Kaito woke up at a medical room. There was a table with bandages on the corner of the room and a clock at the front of his bed.
"A dream" Kaito thought as he got up.
He saw someone sleeping beside his bed. Kairi was silently sleeping.
"She seems to be tired" Kaito thought. He placed his hand on her head.
"You have done well" Kaito said as he stood up from the bed. He went to a window and saw that the sun is going down. He was asleep longer than he thought.
"Kaito?" Kairi said weakly as she woke up from her sleep.
Kaito turned to look at Kairi. They only made eye contact at each other until.
"Quit starting at me like that!" Kairi shouted at Kaito as she turned around facing the door.
"Fine. But is it really necessary to shout at a patient?" Kaito asked.
"It's your fault for staring at me" Kairi responded.
"I promise I won't stare at you again" Kaito said as he made his way to bed.
"Are you okay?" Kairi asked while looking at Kaito.
"Why do you ask?" Kaito answered with another question.
"I-I just want to know if you can start teaching me the Dark Element by tomorrow" Kairi replied as she turned at the door again.
"We can" Kaito said as he looked at the time.
"Then, I'll wait for you tommorow at class" Kairi said as she stood up and went to the door. She stood there as if she's waiting for something or someone.
"Aren't you going to leave" Kaito asked curiously.
"I" Kairi said weakly.
"Hm?" Kaito looked at Kairi.
Kairi turned around then bowed her head.
"Thank You" she said hurriedly then left the room.
"That dream" Kaito thought as he remembered Kairi thanking him.
"Is it really rare to find someone like what you described?" Kaito asked his head as he drifted to sleep.

He woke up at night, 18:21, he then packed his things then went straight at home. Kaito lives alone, no friends, no family nor relatives. The longest acquaintance he has is probably Kairi. He cooked himself a simple meal, as he was a commoner, he didn't eaten anything luxurious. He washed the dishes then went to bed. This was the only time he felt curious about what would happen in the future. He fell asleep thinking about it.

Azrec Family Library :
"Here, you can get one Secret Magic as I told you" Jake said as he was pointing at a old bookshelf.
"Thanks" Kairi said as she quickly went to find a book that can suit her.
Jake felt miserable. He was thinking on how Kairi had managed to win. He has the upper hand but still lost in the end. The Magic-Absorbing scroll didn't activate and guessed that either Kairi did something or it was a fake. Kairi took an old book then brought it to Jake.
"I will be taking this" Kairi said as she left happily.
Jake then smiled wickedly. "If I can't have you by normal means, then I shall force you instead" Jake said while laughing.

Varsandra, Magic Academy:
The School Competition is still going on, so classes are currently dismissed. Students who have finished their duels or waiting for it can do whatever they want. Kaito arrived at the school gate and saw Kairi waiting for her. There was also somebody else with her. She has a long, blue hair and black eyes.
"Who's the new one?" Kaito asked.
"Even if you've saved Kairi twice, don't think you can talk to her like that!" the student beside Kairi shouted angrily and walked towards Kaito.
"Calm down Val" Kairi said as she stopped Val.
"A friend?" Kaito said as he backed away a few steps.
"She's Val, one of my close friends" Kairi told Kaito.
"Please don't make a scene here, just for today, let it slide" Kairi whispered at Val's ear.
"Since Kairi asked me to, I'll let it go today" Val said as she clenched her fist.
"Fine" Kaito said as he walked towards the School's Library.
Val held her anger as Kaito continued walking.
"Kairi, why?" Val asked Kairi.
"I can't say for now, but don't mind the things he and I will do" Kairi said as she looked at Kaito, slowly disappearing at the crowd of students.
"Fine, let me know if something happens" Val said as she calmed herself down.
"Thank you. Let's meet at the School Cafeteria this lunch" Kairi said as she left to follow Kaito.
Val waved her hands as she also has personal things to do.
