Chapter 5. New Freinds

"Are we there yet?"

I asked the maid who was driving the car hurriedly with her full attention on the road.

"We are about to reach there, young master"

The maid replied to me immediately with a calm expression on her face. It was quite opposite of the emotion that she has shown me in the mansion.

Speaking of the mansion, I have left the, my maids, in there so they would look after the mansion. Even though the security is tight around our home that doesn't mean that no one would try to enter it at this vulnerable moment.

Even though I was furious about the sudden accident of my mother however I kept my calm. Anger would not lead me anymore instead it would burn me from the inside.

"Did you find out the person who was responsible for the condition of my mother?"

I asked the maid with a serious expression on my face while looking at her.

She didn't reply to me for some time though I could tell that she has found out about the guy. Her facial expression changed a little though it was returned to normal which is very weird. Only a professional in controlling emotions can do this and she seems to be one of them.

"Yes, I have found out about the guy who did this"

She spoke in a calm tone while looking at the road through the front mirror.

"I see. Tell me who is behind this since no one would do this alone to a family-like us"

I asked her with a calm tone while a cold expression appeared on my face. She glanced at my face for a second before focusing on the car again.

"Your grandfather has ordered me to tell you nothing about this whole incident"

The maid said in a professional tone.

I looked at her for some seconds before I spoke in a serious tone.

"I'm asking you again. Who was behind this?"

"I have told you, young master, that your grandfather-"

I interrupted her in the middle of her words by putting a hand on her shoulder. Her body tensed for a moment before it went back to normal. I did this because I know that she would not say anything to me otherwise I might have been dead by now.

"I'm just a little kid. What do you expect me to do to those guys?"

I spoke in a calm tone though I raised my voice a little so she would understand my point of view on the topic. After all, an 8 years old kid can't do anything to a grown man, right?

"Sigh! The person was a normal guy who was hired by a rival company to kill lady Tamaki"

The maid spoke with an indifferent expression on her face though I could see the anger in her eyes. Her trembling body was not hiding it either.

"Okay"

I spoke to her with a calm expression before I started to look outside of the car through the window which was beside me. She looked in my direction with a confused look though she didn't mind the silence either.

Even though I wanted to ask more about the rival company however I held back because I know for a fact that she would never tell me this until I become an adult.

I don't have a phone otherwise I could have checked it on the internet. Still, I would check about that company on my mother phone. They would not be seeing another day and that's a fact, I'm stating right now.

No matter the reason behind their actions however they must die for touching something valuable to me. If I can't do it myself then I would make sure it would still happen.

"So this is the hospital in which mother is being treated by doctors"

I asked the maid with a serious expression on my face. She looked at my face for a second before she went into a daze.

This thing keeps happening to me a lot. Even though I want to act serious however my little body ruins it for me. It just makes me look even cuter than before which causes the females around me to daze a little.

"Y-Yes, young master this is the place"

She spoke with a flustered expression on her face. As a professional maid, she should not act like this and I'm not the one who says these things, it is them.

I shook my head a little to get rid of these unnecessary thoughts right now. I started to walk towards the entrance though she took my hand in her before she started to walk slowly. Still, her hand felt very soft and nice to touch.

The hospital was not that big and neither it looked impressive. It is because only some people are allowed to come here. It is the best hospital in Japan. The place is only for the most important people in Japan so I could understand why my mother is here.

There were very few people inside the hospital and most of them seem to be the staff. My maid didn't say anything to them so I was silent as well. They were all skinny males with dark circles under their eyes. For me, they looked like zombies with some brain.

After walling some time in the hospital, we finally reached the room in which my mother was being treated by the best doctors. I also saw my grandfather outside of the room with a nervous expression on his face while he was walking back and forth.

"Grandfather"

I shouted with a smile on my face while running towards him. My maid stood there with a smile on her face.

"Haha, Ray, my grandson"

He spoke in an excited tone while catching me in a warm hug. Over the years, I have gotten closer to everyone around me and he was one of my favourites.

"Is mom doing fine?"

I asked him with a sad expression on my face while separating from him. A painful expression appeared on his face though it was instantly replaced with a grin.

"Don't worry, she is already out of the danger"

He spoke smiling while ruffling my hair gently. I nodded at his words with a big smile on my face. It was very good news for me that she was alright now.

The corridor of the area was empty as the staff needed to give the patient family a separate area. There was only one room here with some chairs outside of the room for the patient family.

"Grandpa, did you do something about the person who has done this?"

I asked him with a calm tone with a serious expression on my face. He widened his eyes a little before he looked towards the maid who just shrugged off her shoulders.

"It's a matter of elders so you shouldn't worry about it so much, Ray"

My grandpa spoke with a small smile on his face while pinching my cheeks gently.

Looking at his face, I felt some anger bubbling up inside me. I don't understand why are they all so calm about this whole thing. I don't remember my past life so I didn't know the feel of a mother and yet when I got one, some people want to take her away.

Do they think that I would not do anything about it? I have enough knowledge to kill any person without them knowing anything about it. For me, my mother is everything and for someone to do this to her. There is only one punishment for him and that is death.

I didn't say anything to him instead I just started to walk towards the exit door of the corridor. No-one stopped me though the maid did follow me outside.

After some time of the constant walk, I reached a park near the hospital though no one was there. The maid was keeping her distance from me though she went back to grandpa when she saw me sitting on a bench alone.

She didn't worry about anything since the security here is very tight so no one would think of doing anything to me. Though I didn't plan to sit here for the whole time.

"I should check around the park since sitting here is very boring"

I spoke in a whisper before I stood up from my place before I started to walk around the park. I need to find out about this world and only then I would be able to choose my next action of mine.

After some time of walking around the park, I found three kids around a bench. Two of them seems to be brother and sister while one was a new person. It seems that they have just met right now.

They all noticed me as well though they didn't say anything instead they started to walk in my direction. Well, I don't have anything better to do so let's make some friends outside of my home. Still, I could tell that I have seen them somewhere but where did I see them?
