My gaze fell on the back where a lone girl was sitting. She had blue hair and hazel eyes. She had her elbow on the table, and her palm supported her chin as she looked at Elmer. She was Ava, My former fiancee and the first girl who falls for the protagonist.
I remember this chapter where Devin, in the book, went to Ava and tried to talk to her. Ava got so angry she shouted, attracting everyone's attention. Then Elmer came and asked Devin politely to leave Ava alone.
Devin was reluctant, but he left. He couldn't stand a chance against Elmer, so when he left, a devil girl appeared and asked Ava why she got angry.
Ava told them about Devin in a way that he was the wrong person, even though he wasn't; Devin continuously pesters Ava and comes after her, even stalking her, but he never in his life did anything terrible to her except for an incident where he forced her under the illusion.
Reading Devin's memory, I found that Devin did charity to orphans; this wasn't mentioned in a novel, even the orphans he gave charity to didn't know that Devin was the one who was giving them charity.
I couldn't understand why Devin in the novel did all charity anonymously. Still, one thing was sure Devin wasn't a bad guy, but a scum was after Ava. Still, he didn't have any bad intentions towards her, but since Ava said it in a way that made him a bad guy in front of Elmer and Devil Girl, rumors about him being a rapist spread all over school.
The teacher didn't stop these rumors and let them spread since the devil girl was the principal's daughter. Devin wasn't a genius, so they didn't care and about the other main cast then. They all believed the rumors and hated Devin. But there were some exceptions, like Yuri and Elf Princess. These two didn't believe the rumors, but they also ignored him.
As I thought, all the excitement that the building inside for meeting these people was gone, now I don't feel excited to meet them. In fact, I thought it better if I didn't involve myself with them.
I shook my head and got a seat far away from Ava. I sat down and looked at Elmer. But I got bored, so I gazed outside the window.
-----
Ava looked at Devin as she frowned, "Is this new way to my attention,"
Her frown deepened as she looked at him, then shook her head and looked at Elmer. He was the son of the most powerful person in the kingdom, and he would be the best rival for her.
"Hm, hey, what the interesting in that boy," a cute voice came beside her. Ava turned and saw a short girl with a pretty face and big eyes. She was wearing oversized clothes that made her adorable, her hazel hair was short, and her perky nose made her look the cutest thing Ava had ever seen.
"Hey, Hey, tell me what's interesting about that boy, you been staring for a while,"
"Ah?" Ava looked in that direction, pointed, and saw Devin. She frowned and felt disgusted.
"Ooh, so he is not not interesting but someone you hate," this cute loli nodded her, and then her big eyes looked all over Ava, "Tell me, tell me what that boy did to you, if you tell me then I would teach him a lesson,"
Ava becomes confused about where this loli came from. And why was she so interested in her?
"Devil Girl, are you troubling Miss Ava," a deep, attractive voice came behind the loli.
Loli frowned, and she looked behind and saw Elmer. She ran to him and punched him with her tiny fist, "You stinky, how dare you call me devil, I'm cute lady, you try to dirty my name,"
Ava heard the devil girl's name as she realized who this loli was. She was the second daughter of Harmony Academy Principal Eri Hostword.
"So, Miss Ava, this girl didn't trouble you, right?" Elmer smiled and asked politely.
"Ah, no she didn't and call me only Ava," Ava shook her and said.
"You stinky, I'm helping her, look over that boy, he did something to Ava, so I'm asking what he did so then I could punish him," Eri put her hand on the waist as she said.
Elmer frowned, "Ava, if he did a small thing, then you forgive him,"
If possible, Elmer didn't want anything wrong to happen to his classmates even if he didn't know them, but he knew if classmates crossed some limit, then they should get punished for it.
