Leaving

It's been two days since the ceremony and I've been training every day but despite training every day I've only made it the 9th circulation of the Supreme Dragon Seal Exercise before the pain made me stop.

My friends have already left to go to the organization that they joined but I rejected the offers since I prefer not to be tied down to one group.

Mother despite not wanting me to go to Westblood city because there are massive monster hordes that attack the city regularly she still respects my decision and won't stop me.

While sitting waiting for the underground train to arrive I was thinking about my plan once I got to Westblood. (since there's monsters across the world an underground train is safer) ' Once I get there I need to register with the Hunters Association to become a hunter then get an apartment in one of their facilities.'

Soon after finishing my thought the train arrived, getting to my seat I sat down and took out my Father's book and opened it to the second page. 'The second page is my limit for now I need to be at least rank 2 to read the third page.' I began reading the second page 'Dragon Blade Style sounds interesting.' There's no attack move listed on the page but there is a description of how to activate it with my ability. I just need to circulate my mana through my body in a certain pattern to make take on my abilities properties then inject it into the sword.

'Once I inject the circulated mana into Ryou its power should increase and also release a little aura that gets stronger the more energy I inject.'

After thoroughly reading the page I shut the book and put it away since the crowded train wasn't the best place to practice the Dragon Blade Style.

I settled into my seat to sleep since the trip would take about five hours.

I awoke to a loud bang and sudden lurch of the train. 'What's going on.' The captian's voice sounded over the speakers "Everyone brace yourselves we are under attack from a monster horde and the train is about to be deraild!" Hearing that every one panicked and grabbed onto something, I grabbed Ryou and my backpack that had some of my stuff in it including Father's book. There was a loud bang and everyone flew into the air then I hit my head on the floor and blacked out.
