Inscribed Dagger

Waking up to my alarm I shut off the alarm and just laid in bed for a few minutes before thinking 'I've got stuff to do today and they won't get themselves done.'

I got out of bed and ordered my breakfast. Since it would take awhile I decided to shower first. 20 minutes later I was sitting at the dining table eating my breakfast and looking for the nearest blacksmith on my holowatch.

"Looks like the closest blacksmith is half an hour away from here."

After finishing my breakfast I got ready and left my apartment.

Half an hour later I arrived at the blacksmith. The building was nothing fancy, just a two story building with a sign above the door saying, "Mystical Blacksmith."

Walking through the front door I see rows upon rows of all kinds of weapons and armor. After spotting the counter in the back I walked to it and noticed a door near it with light coming from it.

When I got to the counter I could feel the heat from the room. 'That must be the forging room.' Seeing a bell on the counter I rang it and heard a surprisingly young voice say "Hold on I'll be out in a minute."

About a minute later a charming young woman walked through the doorway and to the counter. "So what can I do for you today?" I was surprised that the blacksmith was a young woman so I stared at her for a few seconds till she said. "Surprised that a girl owns this shop?" I shook off my surprise and said. "Yes it is a bit of a shock." She smiled and said, "So what can I do for you?"

I took out my monster core and said. "I would like a dagger with some inscriptions that can be powered by this core please."

She took the core and grapped an instrument that looked a magnifying glass and studied the core. After looking at the core She walked to the rows of weapons and grabbed a dagger.

Putting the dagger on the counter She said, "This dagger was made from the teeth of a copper toothed tiger and the handle is wrapped in its refined pelt."

I picked up the dagger to see how it felt in my hand and I couldn't help but show a shocked expression at how good it felt in my hand, it's perfectly balanced and has a good weight.

"This dagger has a total of three inscriptions on it, although I have many daggers with four inscriptions this dagger is the most compatible with your core since they are from the same monster."

"How much does this dagger cost?" I asked and she responded "This dagger will cost you 1,000 Enas." "I'll take it."

After paying for the dagger I left the shop and went back home.

'It's only 10:00 so I should go check out the training facility'

Getting in the elevator I pressed the button to bring to the training floor.

The training floor is gaint with dozens of sparing platforms in on the main floor along with alot of levels to the room with different training rooms on each level.

"Heh kid are you new here?" I turned around to see a bulky man that looked to be about 40 years old. "Yes I am new here now what do you want." He smirked and said "Every new person here must fight against one of the other residents, it's a tradition." I didn't really care about their so called tradition but it would be nice to fight a human and determine my own strength.

"Alright right then who am I fighting then?" He gestured for a young man that looked about twenty years old to come over. "This guy is John and you will be fighting him."

"Alright then what ring are we fighting in?" He pointed to the center of the room and said "You'll fight in the main ring."

'So he wants to put on a show huh, well I'll give them a show."
