memories - part one

"ugh" Ayla tried to open her eyes, but for some reason, she couldn't open them.

She tried to sit up or move her fingers, but her body was too heavy to lift.

But her throat seemed fine, so she tried to speak; " Atla-" "Atlas" Her throat was a bit hoarse, but she could at least speak. "Atlas" she tried again.... no response. "Atlas!!"

This time she heard something... She heard a big ´boom` And "arg" Atlas most have fallen out of his bed again " sigh" how could this old man fall out of his bed every time she yelled in the morning.

Or right now. Wait, what was the time?? Was it morning?? Was it night?? How long did she sleep??

"Atlas!! Get your ass in here right now Before I kick it!!" Not that she could because she could not move a muscle right now. But he didn't need to know that.

After making sure Ayla was not unstable in any way, and After two days, her mana finally calmed down.

And now He was about to fall asleep when he heard Ayla shout his name. He was so surprised that he fell off his bed. " arg" Why did she keep yelling?! He hadn't taught her to yell all the time. He taught her to be quiet, and not make so much noise. " Sigh" it seemed like he wouldn't get to sleep today.

"Atlas!! Get your ass in here right now Before I kick it!!"

How could she even yell so much, wasn't she supposed to be tried after using too much mana, and losing control??

Giving up on getting more sleep, he went to her room.

She could open her eyes now, but she was still having a hard time moving. When she was about to yell again, she saw Atlas wearing pyjamas and having big black circles around his eyes as if he hadn't slept in days. "Umm... Atlas??"

She asked, trying her best to hold back her laughter. " yes??" Okay, that was simply too much, he looked like a confused panda." Pfft!! I am sorry but, Atlas you look like a panda right now..haha!!!" She couldn't hold back her laughter, she was just too surprised and taken aback by the fact that he looked like a panda, that she couldn't take it.

"Sigh, I am glad that you have so much energy, even after you used mana, without knowing how to control it, and losing control"

"..." Yeah, she got no comments to that.

*Cough*

" So how long was I asleep??" She asked. " Oh, and umm can you help me sit up??" She still had a hard time moving, and it was a bit annoying to lay down while talking. " You know, I am really enjoying this sight right now, so you will have to wait a bit longer"

" Is this payback for calling you a panda? Then I am sorry but you really look like one" she said. He really did look like a panda, that wasn't her fault, was it?

" Back to your question, you've slept for two days"

"great, know that I know, Can we skip the part where you lecture me about what I have done wrong??" She asked slightly hoping that he will have mercy on her.

"Nope~ and this is quite a serious problem young lady, and if I where you, I would make myself comfortable," Atlas said with grin written on his face.

Ayla paled at the sight, knowing that Atlas would keep his up his lecture for some time ' have mercy on me please!!' She thought to herself in panic.

meanwhile~

"fufu~ I win" A young girl clucked, in the deepest part of the forbidden forest. Throwing a full house of poker down, and faced up the cards so that the rest of the party playing poker could see that the young girl did not in fact cheat, but won out of her own capabilities. " So demons give me your strongest curse," The young girl said, with a grin written all over her face.

* Sigh* in embarrassment the demons got up to the young girl and gave her their best curse. " Hehe, so the score is three hundred to one. Right?" The girl said with a smile, got up, and got her little snake slide down, from her neck to arm.

The sake was little, but beautiful, with a black scale patten, and some small white horns and a white tale.

The snake would set its teeth in the black and miss coloured skin while making a magic circle. The demons knew that as soon as the snake would pull its teeth out, the payment was done, and they would have lost their strongest curse.

That was the rules, bet a curse, and maybe, MAYBE you can win against her, the gamble child. The child no one could beat, no matter what game you've chosen, she would beat you.

Sigh* " Atlas do you not know the word mercy?" Ayla asked out of curiosity and sarcasm. He had kept up his lecture for hours, even though she had just woken up. And when she had asked if he could stop and continue tomorrow because she was tried, he replied with; " since you had the energy to yell, I think you have enough energy to listen for a few minutes"

Yeah, minutes not hours! " yes I do know the word, Ayla" he replied while looking through one of his old books. " So what are you doing now??" she asked with interest and sneaked up behind him.

" I am looking for a way to train you, and learn how to control yourself when using mana and magic," Atlas said.

"kay so what do I do now?" She asked.

" go sit in the corner and remember what you've done two days ago."

"..."

" So no magic??"

"No magic"

"..."

walking to the corner, she sat down and tried to remember what happened after she lost control.
