"Are you kidding me??"

The rewards he got from those two accomplishments were great, but a little unusual.

Even though he can keep working with the new perks, he chose to relax and listen to soothing music until he fell asleep with his eyes closed.

He woke up early before dawn and the sky was still dark. All the soreness and fatigue from yesterday's work was gone, thanks to the latest healing perk. He felt refreshed and ready to start the day.

The forest floor was still damp from the rain the previous day, so Nakami chose to spend more time strengthening his cabin and constructing a thatched roofed shelter to keep his resources and tools.

He's going to work even harder than yesterday. From now on, he'll gather everything before nightfall and use the evenings to create things, maximizing his [Night Owl] perk.

Food won't be a concern for the time being since the crabs and fish are plentiful. In just two hours, he chopped down 10 trees, much faster than yesterday. He took advantage of his healing perk and used it to cut the trees. The best part was that the numbness in his hands was gone without even needing a lot of rest.

The area around the cabin looks much clearer now that Nakami has cut down 20 trees. He feels safer and has more space to build new things. He spent another two hours collecting sticks, fibers, and twigs. But, he stopped working because it was getting hotter and he realized that his ability to heal quickly doesn't mean he has endless energy.

Nakami went to the beach to inspect his traps and bring back any caught crabs and fish. He was pleased to also find shrimps, likely due to the previous day's heavy rain. Although he's bored with the same food every day, at least today there's a change.

While waiting for the food to cook, Nakami decided to make a list of things he is going to do for the rest of the day. Firstly, he is going to retrieve his clay from his old hut. This clay was crucial in creating a clay forge, which would allow him to make ceramics like bowls and jars for boiling water and cooking food.

Next on his list, Nakami planned to secure the perimeter of his camp with a combination of wooden fences and previously planted wooden spikes. He aimed to complete this task before midnight, as he knew the process of waiting for the clay forge to be finished would be time-consuming.

"Oh, everything's almost done cooked!"

Nakami enjoyed his meal of grilled fish and shrimps, savoring the salty flavor and tender texture of the seafood. The taste brought a moment of comfort to his day. Although it took a while, the warmth from the meal comforted Nakami's solitude.

Before departing from his hut, Nakami created large pits outside the wooden fence perimeter and filled them with half of the wood he had gathered. He lit the wood to convert it into charcoal, a process that would take some time. With the charcoal-making process underway, Nakami set out to collect the clay needed for his forge.

When he arrived at his old base, he felt nostalgic as he looked at what was left. A lot had changed since he was last there. He gathered all usable remains there on his log cart, including the clay and ropes, and then left the area

Half an hour later, Nakami returned to his new base and transferred all items from the log cart to the base, except for the clay. Although the sun was directly overhead and it was very hot, he knew that he had to start the work right away because building a forge was a time-consuming process.

He built the foundation of the forge a little further from his cabin to avoid being overwhelmed by the smoke it would produce. He mixed the clay and mud from the hole he dug earlier to create half of the forge. It only took him an hour, but it will take 2 to 3 hours for the mixture to dry. He used the charcoal he made earlier to heat it up, and then left to work on improving his base.

After two hours, wooden fences were visible surrounding some sided the base, although some sides still needed to be finished. Nakami kept some wood aside for other purposes.

He took a break inside his cabin to eat some dried fish he made from the extra fish he caught earlier. He realized from yesterday's events that he can't do much outside when it's raining, so having safe food to eat inside the cabin is a must for him.

Later, he checked the forge and saw that it was dry and sturdy enough to hold the other half. He removed the remaining charcoal and finished building the second half. An hour later, a 1.5-meter tall forge stood there, but still needed to dry. So, Nakami used the remaining charcoal mixed with some wood to heat the forge and then started building a simple roof supported by four wooden posts to cover it.

Although it was well past sunset, Nakami was able to see clearly without any additional light and he felt incredibly energized.

"Ugh, the [Night Owl] perk is really helpful... I thought I'd just learn or see things faster, but it feels like I've become a super human but feel like a vampire too. Sigh, whatever.. Sleep still the best!"

Nakami decided to spend the night inside the cabin watching videos while making some tools and ropes. It was a time-efficient and safe way to spend his evening since he didn't have proper weapons to defend himself against any wild beasts outside.

He decided to spend an hour watching martial arts videos to improve his survival skills. The rest of the night, he watched videos about ceramic making and weapon forging, so he could make something new with his forge tomorrow.

It was almost midnight and Nakami had grown tired of watching videos. He lay down in his bed, idly holding his phone and noticed a small mirror-like object that looked like a camera. However, he had never seen a camera button or option on his phone before and was curious about it.

"It should a camera and I am sure of it. It just that I cant find the way to access. Somehow I feel like having a camera would give me another perk."

Nakami closes his to sleep while listening to binaural beats. A few minutes later he opens his eyes and sit down holding his phone. He immediately open his youtube app.

"I knew it! I can only press the or use the camera button if only I try to post something here.. But I never do something like this.."

Nakami had never posted anything on his social media accounts, and his default profile picture was one he had taken from his high school yearbook. He didn't dislike posting, but felt awkward about it since he had nothing interesting to show.

"Cute.. you think this can make me post something huh !?"
