Hmmm.....

Finally seeing the gates of Fer university Didi anxious mind slowly calmed down.

All said and done she was still a science student and they tended to fall in the caring boat.

She had missed four courses in general, 2 of which were Maths courses and the other 2 were Electronic courses.

After meeting with her mates she started searching for what she missed :notes, assignments, lectures, lecturers.

Thank the heavens for some of the lazy lecturers who didn't complicate the work for her.

Today was gonna be special.

Why?

One word...Kyle, her boyfriend.

He lives out of town but will also be resuming school this week.

After speaking on text they decided to meet at his apartment after her classes before she heads back home.

2minutes to the end of Math407.

"hey",Didi texted.

5minutes ...

15minutes....

" you there?, I'll be waiting for you on campus, just let me know when you arrive "

30mimutes...

"Hey Dd. sorry I fell asleep on the way. Let's meet on the street before my apartment,okay?" Kyle texted.

"yeah , sure. hope your OK?" Didi replies immediately.

After their little chat she packs up her stuff to meet with Kyle and that's when she notices Bailey, Kyle's best friend is not on campus.

Strange...

She is usually the good student.

On arriving the street she realises Kyle has seen her and is waiting, so she pretends not to notice him and buries her head in her phone prepared to by pass him.

This thought of hers is short lived as his hand snakes around her waist to bring her to his chest a light of amusement flickering in his eyes.

"where's my hello kiss?", Kyle smiles , his left dimple showing and his snaggle tooth on full view.

Pair that with his innocent eyes and cute face and then ladies...beware.

Didi was no superwoman and hence willingly fell prey to his charms.

Finally settling down after a thorough clean up of his apartment by Didi , they begin to catch up on lost time apart.

" How's school?"Kyle begins while playing with Didi's fingers.

"Well, its okay I guess. Nothing much has passed, plus with the dwindling number of students in class the lecturers are skeptical to teach..."

"Oh?...who's not around?" Kyle continued laying down on the bed and bringing Didi with him.

"Gael, Maya...Bailey-"

"Bailey's not in school?" Kyle interrupted Didi mid speech.

" no no...in fact I have no idea where they maybe" Didi continued.

After a moment of silence and the unplanned halt in their discussion Didi continues like before,

"so, how were the holidays on your side?" only to be replied with silence.

After a while she tries again.

"Kyle?"

"Kyle!" she raises her voice a little.

"mmm?" he answers.

"what's wrong ?, did you say something?"

"no no...I just sighed, I'm a bit tired" she replied.

"Hmmm..." Kyle made an agreeing sound and didn't think anymore of it.
