Thief

Luck had said he would be back at noon, so everyone assumed that he would come through the main door like a normal person, so they sat in the living room and waited for Luck to arrive.

"Where is he? How dare he keep us waiting like this?" said Nikolai, getting impatient as time passed.

"Calm down, Guildmaster Luck will be here soon..." Horace tried to calm Nikolai.

"Luck is a man of his word, if he says he'll be here, he'll be here."

"Yes, boss, he keeps his word..." When Velma spoke approvingly of Horace, the others nodded in agreement.

Screech!

When they heard the terrified scream coming from the upper floor of the house, they all stood up at once!

"Thief! There's a burglar! Help!" a woman's voice was heard from upstairs.

"What thief dares to break into my house in my neighbourhood!" Nikolai rose up in a rage!

Senna and Elsa were also shocked at the possibility that a thief might have broken into their house.

"Are you trying to rob my father's house? Do you have a death wish?

Horace, who was thinking of a possibility, did not know what to say and leaned forward with his head in his hands.

"I've got him!" the voice of the woman who had just shouted from upstairs was heard again.

Nikolai grabbed his gun and prepared to run upstairs, but when he heard his servant catch the thief, he sat back in his chair.

"Bring him here!" The killing intent could be heard in his voice.

Soon the sound of someone's heavy footsteps echoed down the stairs and the servant, carrying an unconscious man on her shoulder, began to descend.

Horace recognised the clothes of the man on the maid's shoulder at a glance.

Velma was surprised by Horace's reaction, "What can't be?"

Horace bowed his head and shook his head without answering.

When the servant came in front of Nikolai, he threw the thief he carried on his shoulder face down on the floor.

"Let's see who this thief is" Nikolay turned the man lying face down on the floor with the tip of his foot and the face of the man with a black eye was revealed.

It was none other than Luck who was caught as a thief. 

The other day, when he left Senna in a dazed state and went out of the room where he had disappeared, he was suddenly confronted by one of the servants.

Nikolay raised an eyebrow in mockery "What do you mean he didn't sneak into my house? Did he enter the house through the front door and we didn't know about it, or did he just teleport into the room?"

Horace nodded approvingly "he could have teleported... I've seen it appear out of nowhere in the town of Victory many times."

Senna nodded thoughtfully "It could be..."

Nikolai denied, "Impossible! How can someone who has barely reached 1 star power teleport!"

"It's not impossible, father, it could be an artefact, or someone supporting him..."

Confused, Luck said, "Magical artefact? What magical artefact are you talking about!"

Noticing Luck's serious expression, Nikolai secretly spread his star power around and tried to sense the star power of a possible magical artefact on Luck, but he couldn't sense star power from anything on Luck.

There was now only one realistic possibility of Luck's teleportation.

'Or is there really... a powerful individual supporting him?' thought Nikolai.
