Poor Substitute

Ariel pulled the sweater on and made sure that Victoria was sleeping and then moved downstairs with a sigh. It was really late now but she was just kind of awake. Natasha had come back to watch the rest of the movie with them and Ariel had been annoyed yet humored by Victoria's comments to her.

Natasha was completely clueless to Victoria's dislike of her and Ariel was kind of glade about that. She didn't need Natasha flipping out at her, and that she wasn't being idolized by Victoria. Natasha was already a figure that was talked about with the younger girls. How pretty she was and rich and a woman in power.

Going through the kitchen Ariel pulled open the sliding door and went outside. It was a clear night and she looked up the stars were bright. The moon was still giving a good amount of light though it had moved out of sight in the trees.
