One More Obstacle
"Adeline! How could you not say anything!" Jamie nearly yelled at her hitting her shoulder with a throw pillow. Adeline looked at her. That was a bit dramatic.
"Say anything? Jamie I am technically cheating on my husband with my business partner. The less you knew the better." Adeline said with a small smile. "Besides you know now." She also had told her that she was pregnant. To which Jamie was happy for her and then proceeded to voice her concerns with all of this.
"I know, I know." Adeline admitted sitting down with Jamie next to her in the sunroom. She glanced toward the windows where the sun was streaming in. Adeline was deep in thought for a moment and Jamie watched her. This was a very dangerous thing she'd done business wise, if her taking a chance with Lenu went south then Adeline would pay the price.
