"We have to travel by foot, if you can't manage I'll help you." Malachi said to her.
"I'll be okay for now." Ariel said to him and he gave a nod and glance at Taylor narrowing his gaze. Taylor shoved the gun back behind him and put his hands up.
"Just point me in the direction of freedom and we'll never have to cross paths again."
"He did help me, didn't drag me back down to that room like he could have." Ariel said and Taylor was keeping a good ten feet back from the two of them.
"For now you can walk in front of me. Don't trust you, even if Ariel will go out on a limb." He said gesturing for Taylor to move forward. He did quickly so as to not be in striking distance of Malachi, he looked at him like he had the plague.
"My judgment is good." Ariel said.
