The woman was attractive, not in a common sense, she had bony face and her face is chiseled not full of fat or anything like that, little bit masculine, her eyes were green in color and her figure is athletic not woman-like, 

She is a masculine woman with short hair and Skraal, who had no reason or no intention or anything like that, started smiling.

It seems like the woman has impressed Skraal, which is a rare thing as Skraal is not easily impressed and had no reason or feelings for sexual or romantic things.
