"Mushroom village" Ch 16

Previously: So I just wanna say I look like a beggar out of the streets. My dress torn and I'm out here sitting on the pond. Suddenly there is my sweet husband standing there just looking at me. Way to ruin the day.

(What is he doing here now?)

I look at him with my face disgusted as it is and then shift my attention towards washing my face.

(Whatever not like the plot is going right anyway.)

I keep my self busy with washing my face as two shoes catch the side of my eyes.

"Who are you?"

Leo asks in a nervous tone, and I give him a look of concern.

(Is he for real? )

I stand up and shake my head trying to drop the excess water off.

"No"

I reply dryly and was about to go away but then he holds my hand again.

(Deja vu )

I glance at him, My face blank.

"Ah-say do you wanna be friends?"

I stop....

(What!? did he neally go crazy?)

[Yeh -- ]

Leo scratches his face, still holding my hand.

"You know, we can eat some ramen if you want."

I process the words for an eternity then I take my hand back pushing Leo one inch away.

"No thank you, and aren't u married?"

Leo looks at the sky and thinks deeply for a moment.

(Even though I'm his wife... but still what a playboy.)

"No"

I freeze again because this time, the plot is hit by freezerculosis.

"What a liar!"

I start stomping towards the opposite way as Leo follows me.

"I didn't lie! hey what's your name?"

[Warning K drama scene incoming.]

The wind blows heavily and my legs stop.

(I don't know but this feels like somewhat strange, it's going in the wrong way but just what if-)

I glance back and see Leo standing, his face showing a sign of panic.

(If he really went crazy then).

I swallow the non existent substance in my throat. Somewhat nostalgia hitting me.

"Minho, my name is Lee Minho"

The wind blows causing a dramatic scene.

(The wind must be a side actor.)

Leo smiles as if he just got his first toy.

"My name is Leo von Louis."

[Good thing he got memory loss.]

I roll my eyes and stick my tounge out.

(He really, lost his mind.)

"Ok nice, now I'm going"

Leo suddenly starts panicking and moves towards me in a hurry but he loses his footing.

(Ah shit- here we go again.)

"Ahhh!"

Leo's whole body crushes with mine as we tangle on top of the soil. My clothes being more muddy and making me into a mud roll.

"Ugh!"

I groan and try to move my body but it is stuck beneath Leo, our legs entangled together and his hands grabbing the soil, which makes us only one inch apart from bashing our heads together.

I glance at his face.

(That was close.)

Leo's face was all red as his eyes deeply stared into mine, making him lose in a void place.

(Since when did comedy turned into romance?)

I stare at him for eternity also.

(His eyes are pretty.)

The one inch distance suddenly closes making it half inch.

(This is dangerous-)

And just when I close my eyes, a hand covers my mouth and my eyes shot open.

"What mmph!"

Leo looks away gritting his teeth.

"No this is very wrong! I have a wife I just remembered."

Leo speaks in a dramatic way. Suddenly something unknown lands on top of my abdomen and I widen my eyes.

(Seriously what a jerk!)

I grab Leo's arm and he looks at me.

(Sorry but you deserve it jerk.)

I move my fist across Leo's face and his body goes off flying.

I stand up from laying down and brush the dust of my clothes. As Leo fixes his jaw and looks at me, a tiny teardrop stuck beside the corner of his eyes.

"Why did you hit me!?"

I point my fingers towards the thing poking through the well organised pants of his.

"Number one you have a wife and number two, to fight back the urge to not cut your life line off."

Leo processes for a moment then looks down, his eyes shocked with despair and embarrassment.

"He-hey wait, it's a misunderstanding."

I give him an eyeroll.

"I'm going." I turn back and start walking.

"Hey stop in the name of law!"

And my legs stop automatically.

(Are this legs on autopilot or some.)

I turn around and glance at him annoyingly.

"What?"

Leo stands up all wobbly from the hit I just gave him.

"At least can we be friends?"

I slap my hand on my head as I let out a sigh of dissapointment.

"If I say yes, will you stop pestering me?"

Leo shakes his head replying in negative.

"Ugh! then what!?

I shout at the injured man and his face curls up into a smile.

"You have to go to a place with me."

I shrug my shoulders and go towards the injured man.

"Fine! finish it quickly."

...A few moments later....

(My life's biggest mistake was not me, coming into this world but following a man who gets lost himself!)

I stare at Leo who was talking to himself or the air.

"Where is the way Leo?"

I scoff and he gestures his hands in a weird way.

"Just wait! the system is showing us to go inside the grape vine."

"What kind of system?"

Leo looks at the thin air again and suddenly grabs my hand dragging me away.

"Wha-"

We go through the long grape vines for half an hour and after that thorny walk we finally come out of the vines.

(Finally we are out of this, the heck-)

In front of me stood a giant cave. Giant enough to fit a Titan.

(Since when did this mansion got a hidden cave like this?)

"It seems like it! let's go inside then!" Leo speaks in relief and excitement.

"Wait-"

Leo drags me again, taking me inside the cave. The cave was lit up with flames as it leads us deeper into the cave.

(Why do I feel like we'll get eaten.)

After walking for a while we find a strange entrance where sunlight was coming from. I close my eyes due to the sudden sunlight shining over my eyes and we cross the exit.

"We're here!"

Leo shouts as I open my eyes slowly trying to adjust the opacity and when I do I can't help but stare in shock. The cave led up to a whole village, the houses were made up of mushrooms.

Weird creatures were flying around here and there.

"What in the fantasy is this!?"
