Officially engaged

"How's the fitting this?"Andrew asked after a moment of silence. We're having our dinner at a fine dining restaurant. It was a surprise that he took me out tonight.

"It went well." And I guess I must tell him about Kara now that she'll stand as my bridesmaid. "And I've came across someonw who happened to know me." I saw how his jaw stopped moving and his eyes caught mine.

"Really?" He puts down his cutlery and clasped his hands, his eyes never leaving my face.

"Yes. Her name is Kara."

I can't help my heart from beating so fast. My! He's eyeing me like I am his prey.

"I'm guessing you've chosen this Kara as your bridesmaid." His look is penetrating my soul.

I gulped hard. I put my fork down and held my hands tight together. "I felt her sincerity."

"Did she mention other friends of yours?"

I shook mh head no. But she did mention her boyfriend. "She mentioned her boyfriend. Daniel Weinfield."
