[The mage without a blessing] Chapter 2

A month later...

"It's been as month since i awakened...everything is still pretty peaceful"

"Even though i feel like my life is gonna be turned upside down soon... " Akira said as he stared through the window of his residence looking at the people from the mage's guild checking if any child has awakened

The mage's guild sends out people to check the entire Dai Empire to find any and every child that has awakened. Having awakened and hiding it from the mage's guild is considered a taboo.

Every child that has awakened is forced to become a mage of the mage's guild of the Dai Empire.

"This really is going to be a pain.. " He said as he went inside his washroom to take a shower.

[An hour later]

A knock on a shabby wooden door was heard. The sound came from the door of akira's residence. One of the mage had come knocking in front of his door and was impatiently waiting for someone to open

The door was finally opened "Finally, you sure took your sweet time to open the damn do-" He looked in front but found nobody. That was at least till he looked down.

A boy with long black hair and munsale yellow eyes stood there in front of him. The boy in front of him had long eyelashes and a ragged set of clothes on his body.

"How may i be of service to you... " the boy asked politely in front of the arrogant mage who was banging the door like it was nobody's business.

The mage in front of him despite being flabbergasted for who knows what reason asked "Well I didn't expect a little runt to answer the door... Where are your parents, little runt".

"I would like to meet them because despite knowing about the annual checking... because their lazy ass decided to not bring you to us"

The boy nodded and slightly signaled the man to follow him. As the man started to follow him... they arrived at the back of their garden.

The boy suddenly stopped and turned and said "Here you go, mister..." As he said that he pointed to his parents grave with an arm.

[.....]

The man and the kept silent for a bit. Having decided to break the silence the man decided to speak up and thus looked at the boy who was just staring at the graves without a tint of sadness in his eyes.

The kid's eyes.....It was just simply empty..
