Academy’s Weakest Student

A youth, looking like someone who is not even older than 15-16 can be seen doing some push-ups in a small and shabby room.

He was bare-chested and was full of sweat. Trickling on his forehead, slightly blocking his view. Though it didn't stop him from continuing his push-up.

"... 98, 99, 100." The youth finally stopped doing some push-ups when his count reached a hundred. He then sat on the floor and leaned his back on the small bed behind him.

He sighed while he wipes his sweats, "It is already so bright outside. I should start preparing for class."

From the outside, the sun's light had invaded his darkroom, brightly illuminating it. The coldness of dawn had also already disappeared and the warmth of the sun was starting to permeate in the surroundings.

Resting for about a few minutes, the boy stood up. Directly heading towards the tiny bathroom and then cleaning his body until he washed off the sweats from his body. Satisfied, he left the bathroom after drying himself.

He then changes to his robes, given by the school. It was just a simple designed yellow robe, with an image of a phoenix under a small cloud. After that, he went out of his room, welcoming the warm heat of the sun.

"Another day, another me." He said and then proceeding to walk.

On his way, he encounters many other students wearing the same robes. He even saw others wearing blue and red robes, which signifies that they are of a higher grade than him.

The path walk he was treading was made of a special type of material called the Soft Rock. It is a type of material that is greatly used in making roads and is one of the most common material at the first-tier of Gamma grade.

The academy, using such material on their path walks just shows how financially stable and powerful they are. Though almost all of the existing academies in this kingdom are of the same, the Cloud Phoenix Academy reigns at the top.

Founded by the Cloud Mage, famous for controlling the clouds like the back of his hand and seemingly controlling the weather. The academy is really well-known for having a solid foundation thus, it is built at the capital of the kingdom.

"There will be only one class today. I should continue figuring out if that game is real or not." The boy said to himself, not bothering about the few students who are pointing and laughing at him.

"Look over there! Isn't that Khein, who is known for being unable to cast even a level-1 Mortal rank spell!"

"Is that so? I also heard that he scored 0 at the Monthly Exam and was scolded by Teacher Joseph."

"You guys are all outdated. Haven't you all heard that he had actually tried courting Orianna?"

"What?! He actually dared to court the most beautiful girl in the academy?! Isn't he afraid of Garry?!"

"Who knows…"

The boy named Khein had actually heard what they were talking about, it's only that he didn't bother since it was not a big deal.

If those people find out what he was thinking, they would surely spit blood due to frustration.

Not being able to cast a level-1 Mortal rank spell is not a big deal? The Sophomores should already be able to cast at least a level-9 Mortal rank spell.

Offending Garry is not a big deal? He is known for being a genius who had reached the 2nd level of Gamma rank at the age of 15 and he is the only son of an elder from the Sage Tower.

All of these things and Khein did not even have the slightest bit change in his expression. He was like someone who was not even afraid of the consequences and was not bothered by such 'small matters'.

Though in actuality, Khein had also no idea that a great part of him had already changed without him knowing. If he had just stopped and thought of it clearly, it was not normal for him to act so calmly after the mention of those things.

"Where should I try out that reward? That mission was really unreasonable, the reward should be worth it." Khein said. Remembering the thing that he had to endure doing just to finish a certain mission.

Heading towards his classroom, Khein was unaware that what he had done yesterday had caused a very large uproar. News of someone openly courting the academy's number one beauty had already spread throughout the campus.

Some of these students are not even a stranger to the name Khein, as this name had repeatedly appeared from time to time. And in each time causing a large disturbance in the academy that made him quite unforgettable.
