Shamanistic Space and Administrator's Decision

Leo's handsome face wore an expression of shock, his crystal blue eyes were wide open as he looked at Administrator with complicated emotions.

He did not expect that this mysterious persona called Administrator would be able to use the artifact that his disciple had binded to herself.

It should be known that no other person would be able to use a bound artifact aside from the person who binded with the said artifact, so how could he possibly not get shocked by her action of taking out Irene's binded artifact?

However, if he were to think about it carefully, this should've been quite normal for her to do this because fundamentally Administrator could still be called Irene but with a whole new set of different personality.

The Red Dragon from afar had not displayed any sort of reactions towards the appearance of the artifact though as it was still in the midst of casting spells after spells of buff skills to continuously strengthen its draconic body.

Due to the dragon race's inherent high resistance towards the various types of energies, any type of strengthening applied to their draconic bodies would become significantly weaker in effects and duration.

This is also the reason why most dragons did not have any types of strengthening buff skills to use for themselves because of its almost nonexistent effects on their bodies.

Some of them are exempted from this though as there are also some dragons who would choose to trade their monstrous defense in exchange for more power.

And there was one such dragon who would rather trade its defense to gain power, its tough and lustrous red dragon scales were rapidly turning into a darker shade to the point that it made the dragon look like a huge meat dragon.

He was examining the dragon intently when he heard the Administrator softly mutter a sentence under her breath and said.

"The Eye Artifact of the Ancients... how nostalgic."

Her peerlessly beautiful face was looking at the artifact in her hands with a slight melancholic expression.

Leo who was just a few meters behind her heard her words quite clearly and he felt a shock run down his body as she uttered those mysteriously confusing words.

He felt the name that she uttered quite familiar but he couldn't quite remember as he felt that there's still something missing and that deeply unsettled him to the core.

If one of his teammates was around him at this moment then they would've been given a huge scare by the silly expression that their calm and composed leader was displaying right now.

These members knew Leo as a leader who had an unparalleled dignity and attractive charisma unique to leaders and yet, this admirable leader of theirs had his expressions repeatedly being broken in just a span of a single day.

It's quite a wonder what would the member's expressions have if they saw their handsome leader the way he is right now.

Leo's reason for being shocked was because of the fact that this mysterious Administrator persona seemed to know the origins of the artifact that he gave to his disciple when he doesn't even know about it.

The saying "Just because you don't know it doesn't mean that others don't.", seemed to perfectly apply to his current situation and he felt a bit terrible because of that.

But that was it as he knew that a person shouldn't feel angry when others know more about them, they should instead be more grateful to that person for giving them the knowledge that they lack.

He opened his mouth and wanted to ask her questions but then he realized that it was an inappropriate time to ask questions as they still had to take care of the Red Dragon.

Leo saw her skillfully used the pyramidal artifact in her hands to cast an unknown skill.

Her long and vibrant white hair wildly fluttered in the air as the dormant will energy inside her was being rapidly sucked by the artifact in her hands.

The more energy it absorbed the brighter its glow becomes and the more the closed eye of the artifact was opening.

Not long later and it seemed that the appetite of the artifact was fully satiated as its eye was now completely open and bright white lights were coming out of it.

Then suddenly the eye of the pyramid released a soundless mysterious mumbling that could make people drift into a trance, a beam of white light was then released as it rapidly penetrated through space before arriving in front of the startled dragon in a manner of seconds, the white beam then accurately hit its huge dragon head.

Shamanistic Mind Read!

Neither the Red Dragon nor Leo knew what the effects that the beam bought to the dragon, but Administrator knew this full well as she was the one who used the skill herself.

She could hear the thoughts of the dragon in her head albeit a bit vague due to the resistance of the dragon but she could still hear bits of information from it.

[ What... this puny human... to me! ]

[ I don't... anything...why..? ]

[ I'll...ill her! Kill! Kill! Kill! ]

The extremely potent negative emotions of the Red Dragon almost affected the calm mind of Administrator, it was quite fortunate that she was able to prevent its corrosive effects on her mind any further or she feared that her judgment would've been negatively affected.

'What a fearsome negative aura! It seemed like this dragon had been through something violent in the Mystical Plane... but I don't know anything about that plane because of my limited authority as an administrator...'

She shook her head and set these useless thoughts aside as she instead focused herself on preparing for the upcoming fight between her and the red dragon.

She released the hands that were holding the Pyramidal Artifact which then remained floating in the air in front of her.

Her eyes remained focused while her slender and fair hands made extremely swift hand seals that were unthinkable to Leo yet innovatively efficient to him at the same time.

Her hands beautifully created hand seals after hand seals until she finally completed the last required complicated hand seal.

Shamanistic Space!

Then mysterious sounds suddenly came out of nowhere that rapidly spread out for miles and it sounded like a soft mumbling of a man or a woman but the words were quite obscured and cryptic as he didn't know what they were mumbling about.

The Red Dragon that was flying in the distance was also enveloped by the sound that the shamanistic skill produced.

The murmurs of the shamanistic space had a strange calming and hallucinatory effect on their minds that even the dragon known for their tough will defense felt the urge to sleep.

[ W-what... is this? ]

[ I... sleepy... ]

[ No! Kill! Kill! Kill them all! ]

Leo did not feel anything though as he felt an unprecedented peace wash over his whole body instead, it erased all of his worries and anxiety.

Then Leo woke up from his comfortable feeling as he thought to himself in shock.

'What a terrifying skill! Just what skill did she use that even affected a Seer's fortified mind?!'

A Seer is a 3rd Class Advancement so it's natural for them to possess skills and talents that protected the mind, but right now, those things were all rendered useless in front of the mighty prowess that the skill which Administrator used.

He knew his disciple, Irene, full well and he knew that she only had a few area skills up in her skill arsenal and the mysterious area skill that the Administrator used wasn't included in this.

He had no idea if it was a skill that his disciple already have but was just kept from him or it's a skill that Administrator exclusively own, either way, it should be good as the stronger she was the faster they could deal with this dragon.

He was quite worried as he still couldn't find any traces of his teammates even after scouring half of the whole Endless Desert Continent, he feared that the old monsters hiding might've already noticed the commotion that they created so he strongly felt the urge to end this dragon once and for all.

Thus he immediately decided in his mind to have a talk to this Administrator, he opened his mouth and said with a firm and determined voice.

"Ire- Administrator, would you enter and connect to my mental network?"

Administrator who was about to cast a skill suddenly stopped in her tracks as she looked at the said master of the one who owns the body she was using.

Her beautiful white eyes were flickering with doubt and hesitation as she was still quite indecisive whether to trust this person or not, but she felt that it shouldn't be a problem thus she could only nod her head reluctantly to agree to his request for her to connect and said.

"Okay. Let's do it."

Leo heard this and he couldn't help himself from displaying a dazzlingly handsome smile and said in a joyful voice.

"Wise choice!"
