Chapter Eighty-two

Miss Clarkson had never been happier since she took seriously ill. It was more like a last wish granted, Bella walked in, looking well except for something weird she could not place her fingers on. She thanked Jay Martins for looking after her daughter and from the energy she felt coming from the duo, she could tell that a lot of water had passed the bridge, nevertheless, she owed her daughter a lot and if Jay Martins was going to give her the happiness she as a mother could not give her, then she was dying happily. She welcomed them, with her eyes she said thank you to Anthony, he and his son made it possible. Anthony acknowledged her with a nod,  whilst wiping a tear from his eyes. The atmosphere was really tense and emotional enough to send even the strongest man to tears. Bella was crying and kept apologizing for not being there for her mother when she was going through hell. The lady was also sorry for transferring aggression to the innocent child, she asked if Bella was staying for sometime as they had a lot of catching up to do and also a lot to tell, Bella assured her she was staying. Although he tried to hide his emotions behind smiles and talks, Miss Clarkson could tell he did not want to be apart from her daughter. So she asked a question that seemed to draw a stretch of silence, "Do you love my daughter Martins? ",she asked suddenly, Bella mouthed 'Mom!!! ',but the lady pretended not to notice while waiting for an answer from the big man, he looked at Bel, locking eyes with her, it seemed like his most honest confession yet when he said, "To the ends of the world, ma'am, I love Bella so much ",and Bella nearly exploded. Miss Clarkson was happy, finally some true love showing up in her reality. She knew that Anthony loved her a lot, but there was a little bit of holding back from her side, she did not tell him everything. Bella was just like someone, her twin sister who was late. Nobody in the room knew that side of her story, not even Bella herself. It was what was keeping her hanging, she had a lot of secrets and it was high time she let in Bella on some of these truth no one knew. For once in her fake life, she wanted to live for herself and not someone else life, she missed being called her name since she let herself be buried in place of her sister, she needed to hear her real name from someone's lips again. She could not wait to tell Bella everything, how the media was not her thing, how much she loved photography and how much she had lost. This was her moment of truth, and she was tired of playing Miss Clarkson. Probably that was why the Almighty was still keeping her alive, a chance to atone for everything, she was still worried about how Bella was going to take the whole news and what it would do to her, but then something about Bella scared her, she was looking like her twice sister, the first time she discovered she was pregnant. 

In the atmosphere, two people were seeing only deceit from Jay Martins, and that was Anthony and Mikey, plus, they did not want to ruin the atmosphere with the suspicion. All they wanted was to find away to draw Bella for the test as that was important and also get her reaction when she was let in on the truth about the man she was loving. Call them a party pooper but for her sake, they were willing to do and undo great things, Bella deserved better, she was such a sweet soul and he did not certainly deserve her. They tried to keep the fake smiles and teeth trend, but even them could perceive the little hostility towards the man which they hoped no one else noticed. Jay Martins was bad news for Bella and even Diego could prove it. Miss Clarkson could be left to keep imagining her Cinderella fairytale but then, Bella deserved to know the truth.
