I paced around the conference, my mind racing. I didn't want to think of the worst case. I knew Leonora was hurting but I don't think she's suicidal. I don't think she would want to harm herself. I had gone down to the staff quarters to look for her a few hours ago. I felt bad for what I said and I finally made up my mind about what I wanted from her. I no longer wanted to deny what I felt for her and I didn't care if Claire would throw a fit. Leonora was my mate and that's all that matters. But she wasn't there.
I walked out of the conference room and walked around aimlessly. I didn't have a destination. I felt a tap behind me and I turned around. It was that girl. I racked my brain trying to think of her name but nothing was coming to me.
