Day Five
"Terran, please answer your phone," I pleaded, my feet slowly pacing across the huge, dark room with my sweaty hand running through my hair. My breaths were heavy as I paced.
"I need you to answer your phone," I begged again. My spirit was weak, and I was close to breaking down. The ritual comes to an end tomorrow, and I'll finally be married and mated to Terran Cullen. It's a path that I've been destined to tread, and over time, I've come to terms with the pros and cons of being married to a man and being his Luna.
I've grown to like Terran to the point where I no longer see our marriage as a marriage of convenience, but after the incident with Sapphire, my mind isn't as certain as it used to be, and I need his clarity. I earnestly need his reassurance.
