LOTUS
"Calm down," murmured the woman, lifting her hands above her head."We are not your enemies."
"Who are you, then?" "Did Arthur and Charlotte send you to kill me?"I inquired.
"We actually saved your life," she explained. I closed my eyes to try to gain control of myself, but I couldn't. I opened my eyes and glared at her fiercely.
"No one asked you to save me," I told her as she collided with the wall when I waved my hands. She pushed herself up from the ground. I couldn't help but notice the change in her; she was now staring at me with a frigid gaze. I could feel her energy emanating from her. Before I could react, she began chanting something I couldn't understand, and I felt a force pinning me down on the bed.
As she got closer to me, I felt weak. I felt dizzy and slumped as she chanted. I had no idea what had awoken in me, but I could immediately feel my energy returning. When I opened my eyes, I saw her talking with the other man, her back to me. With a speed I didn't realize I possessed. I crept up behind her and sank my fangs into her neck. The taste of her blood in my mouth gave me an electric shock, and I immediately pulled away. She turned around, a shocked expression on her face. Before I could react, I felt a hard object hit my head from behind and passed out.

Lucas dropped the iron he used to strike Lotus on the head. They returned her to the bed and stared at each other."She still can't control her powers," Serefina said to Lucas, who agreed.
"She is very powerful, and if let loose, her powers can destroy this realm," she continued, and Lucas smirked."Finally, I've seen someone who is more powerful than all the supernatural creatures combined," he added, drawing a scowl from Serefina.
"You should drop the idea of anything bad you're thinking of because it won't help you." We should focus on helping her learn control of her powers first, and in order for that to happen, I need to take her with me to the witches' kingdom," Serefina told him, and Lucas frowned.
"You're not going anywhere with her, she's mine, I found her first, so back off." Lucas yelled angrily at her.
"It's for her own good." "The witches will accept her, and she will gain more control of herself over there. Imagine her staying here and she loses control one day and the vampires discover that she is different. Imagine what will happen to her." Serefina tried to persuade him, but Lucas refused to listen to anything he had to say.
"I'd rather have her with me and watch her lose control and wipe out the entire supernatural realm than let her go to your kingdom," Lucas said to her and Serefina hisses, clenching her hands.
"All right, I'll stay back and teach her how to control her powers." Serefina addressed him.
"Better," Lucas told her.
LOTUS
When I regained consciousness, I held my head because my head hurt. There was no one in the room. I was perplexed as to where I was. I remembered everything that had happened before, including how an incomprehensible power took control of my being and how I threw the unknown man against the wall by simply waving my hands. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't come up with a satisfactory explanation for what had happened to me. I was totally confused.
The door opened, and the same man and red haired woman entered. I'm curious who these people are. From the looks of things, I don't think they want to murder me because if they did, they would have already done it. This time, I didn't think they were a threat to me. They were the only ones who could answer the question I required, the answer to where I was. I kept my cool while I glanced at them.
"Finally, you're awake after sleeping for a week," the man murmured, and I gulped hard at the notion of sleeping for a week.
"I guess you're already in your right mind because you're not acting like a loose dog anymore," the red-haired woman sarcastically said. I ignored her because this was not the first time I had been insulted in my life.
"Where am I, and who are you people?"I inquired.
"First, we'll tell you who you are.," the man said to me, and I hissed in my thoughts." Like I didn't know who I am"
"Your name is Lotus Wettin, the former Luna queen of the werewolf kingdom," he said as he read my background, which I found uninteresting, but I was patient with him because I needed answers to my questions.
"Am I correct?" he asked, and I nodded, despite the fact that I hadn't been paying attention to everything he was saying the whole time.
"Who are you?." I inquired. I was curious to know who they were because I'm aware that I'm a wanted traitor, and it perplexed me that they hadn't informed Arthur of my whereabouts yet.
"I'm Lucas Ford, a known vampire Lord in this vampire kingdom," he said to me, and I looked at him with shock on my face. "Are you serious?" I asked. "Do I look like a joker?" he questioned, and I gulped down my saliva. This explains why they haven't taken me to Arthur. I'm no longer in my kingdom, but in vampire kingdom. Shivers ran down my spine at the thought of being in the midst of blood suckers.
"You don't have to be nervous or terrified."The vampires will not harm you, especially since they know you are my daughter," he added as if he could read my mind.
"Your daughter?" I looked at him, perplexed.
"I will adopt you as my daughter, yes." The paperwork is already completed. "Your consent and fingerprint are the only things that remain," he told me.
" You may have introduced yourself to me, but you are still a stranger to me." How would you like me to accept being your daughter? "It doesn't make any sense," I told him."What qualities do you possess to be my father?"
"I saved your life and learned a lot about you from my research." I know you don't have somewhere to go, so staying here is the greatest option for you; however, in order for you to stay here, you must have an identity, which I am providing for you." He explained, and I realized where he was going.
I didn't say anything as I considered what to do. He was correct; I had nowhere to go and I wasn't sure I could trust these folks.
He gave me the papers and an ink pen."If you accept it, you may sign." "I'll give you some time to think," he said to me before leaving the room with the woman whose identity I didn't learn.
I went over the paper. I'd become Lotus Ford once my fingerprints were imprinted on the documents. This was my chance to start over, but what if I regret it? As far as I recall, the last time I tried to restart my life with Arthur after my mother died, it went horribly wrong. My mind flashed back to everything that had happened to me.
I don't think I'll be able to do it. I don't want to go through this again. I tried to stab myself with a silver knife, but the door opened and the knife was thrown against the wall. I turned around to find the red haired woman at the door.
"Are you trying to kill yourself?"She inquired as she quickly approached me.
"This is my life. I'll do whatever I want with it. "Leave me alone and stop trying to save me," I cried, and she slapped my cheeks hard.
"Don't be a coward," she said.
I couldn't stop the tears from streaming down my cheeks. The sorrow in my heart was too much for me. I believed I was already strong, but I was deceiving myself.
"I don't have a reason to live any longer," I sobbed.
"Do you believe that dying will solve your problem?" It will only give your adversaries an advantage. Don't let them off the hook for everything they did to you. You must be tough. Don't squander this opportunity to restart your life. "I know you're hurting, but don't let it take over your life," she advised.
She grabbed the silver knife off the ground and tossed it to me."You have the decision of killing yourself if you so desire." I won't stop you now, but think about the baby growing inside you before you take your own life. "Don't be heartless to take away the life of an innocent baby," she warned to me before exiting the room, leaving me confused as I touched my belly.
