The Lord Yahweh’s Respite: “The Lord Will Always Provide, Children.”

"Listen, my beloved people," Aaron proclaimed, his voice strong and filled with conviction. "Yahweh has heard your cries, and He will provide for us.

In the evenings, you will witness His glory, as Quail, Lizards, and other small critters descend upon our camp, providing us with meat to nourish our bodies, and fill our bellies.

This will be followed by Desert Foxes, Ibex, and Gazelle, so you may make new clothing, if necessary. Otherwise, Yahweh has declared that these beasts be left alone; in order to clean up the remains and parts of the animals you won't use, and flourish in their own environment.

If you don't hurt them, they won't hurt you. So says our Lord God, Yahweh."

Ezrae then stepped forward, his eyes sparkling with joy. "And when the morning sun graces the sky, a miraculous substance, delicate and granular, will blanket the desert floor.

It will be our heavenly bread, bestowed upon us by Yahweh Himself. Gather as much as you need, an omer per person, according to the size of your household.

This glorious substance will be called Manna, and it is a gift from Yahweh himself. However, your household is to consume all that you have gathered.

Leave none till the morning, or else it will become rancid and rot. These are the declarations of our Lord God, Father Yahweh. Baruch HaShem Adonai Eloheinu!"

Moses, resting on a blanket that his brother Aaron placed on a large boulder for him, Smiled wearily, as his brother and adopted son continued to address the israelites.

Pride overflowed from him, and that was the first time that he realized… When it was time for him to die, the future of the Israelites was in good hands.

The anticipation in the air was palpable as the Israelites assimilated this evening's revelation. They readied themselves, knowing that the next day would bring a newfound provision, and a tangible sign of Yahweh's Provision & Mercy.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, almost entirely disappearing from sight; it painted the sky with vibrant hues, and the Israelites stood in awe of the celestial spectacle.

The glory of Yahweh manifested in a resplendent cloud, beautiful and vibrant colors dancing through it; casting a celestial glow upon the camp. The people, momentarily forgetting their hunger and weariness, gazed in wonder at this divine spectacle.

Moses beamed, his face shining with the radiance of Yahweh's presence. Together, they had delivered the message of divine provision, their voices carrying the weight of unwavering faith.

In response, it was as if the sky itself put on a show for the Israelites… God's creation truly was awe-inspiring, and far beyond Moses' comprehension.

"Papa Ezrae!" a child exclaimed, tugging at Ezrae's robe. "Will there really be food tomorrow? Will we truly have bread from the heavens?"

Ezrae knelt down, his eyes filled with tenderness. "Yes, my little one," he replied, his voice infused with love. "Yahweh has promised to provide for us. We must trust in His plan and have faith that tomorrow, our hunger will be satisfied."

As the night unfolded, a hush settled over the camp. The Israelites, nestled in their tents, eagerly awaited the dawn, their hearts brimming with anticipation. And when the first rays of sunlight painted the horizon, a collective gasp filled the air.

The desert floor was adorned with a thick layer of dew, which was sweet to the taste, but felt thicker than water. It only stayed on the surface for an hour, before evaporating and leaving behind a delicate, white substance; glistening in the morning light.

Manna, the heavenly bread, lay scattered across the sand, a testament to Yahweh's abundant provision.

Moses watched as the Israelites ventured out, their eyes wide with wonder, gathering the miraculous sustenance that had been promised.

They marveled at its taste, for it was unlike anything they had ever known. The manna was sweet and savory, and very satisfying; nourishing their bodies, and revitalizing their spirits.

The journey through the desert thus far had not been easy; but with Moses, Aaron, and Ezrae leading the way, the Israelites continued to learn the true meaning of faith, perseverance, and unity.

And before their very eyes, they began to become a community again; bonded by a shared purpose; a people who had witnessed the miracles of Yahweh, and a testament to the power of unwavering belief.

Ezrae was in awe at the power of God; A community that was tearing itself apart, and attacking itself had begun to heal and come together again, thanks to the grace of Yahweh.

The day was passed by resting in their camp, consuming manna, and waiting for the night; where they could fill their bellies with quail and other meats.

The rest of the day was quiet, the people were kind to one another again, and kind to their leaders. Ezrae wandered through the camp, engaging in small talk with his fellow Israelites, ruffling the hair of a child here and there, and acting goofy to make them smile and laugh.

Aaron and Moses were sequestered in Moses' tent for the day, so Ezrae was in charge, and helped to settle any disputes or solve any problems that may arise. So, he tended to his people.

As he walked through the camp, he discovered yet another problem… The Israelites were almost out of water. They had gotten down to their last canteen, and they worried what would happen next.

And so, Ezrae ventured over to Moses' tent, in order to let him know of the Israelites' concerns. It's then that Ezrae overheard a terrible, and private conversation.

"Yahweh has revealed to me, brother, that you and I will not see The Promised Land, in this lifetime." It was Moses' voice, and he was speaking to his brother, Aaron.

When Ezrae heard that, his mind was instantly transported back to the day that he lost his grandfather, Amitai, and his life had changed forever.

His emotions raged through his mind, his heart pounded violently against his rib cage, and the world spun around him, as he stepped into the tent.

"What…. What do you mean… You won't see the promi-…" And he passed out in the sand, in front of Moses and Aaron.
