Act 20

The weeks that passed seemed like an eternity, being separated from her little girl had destroyed both her and his wife. She spent her time locked inside Auri's room, hugging the blanket that she belonged to or the little panda romper that she had bought for her.

She all reminded him of those days when she was able to enjoy her daughter and that now she could no longer, they had taken away what gave birth to her life. The oldest of her did not know what to do, little by little she was losing her loved one. This blow had been very hard for both of them, but she ended up breaking the woman he loved.

After thinking about it a lot, he decided to go to the house of the wretch who had hurt his wife. He was quite surprised to see that the partner of his exes was there and he tried to make up for her by saying that he was quite busy, however, the girl was more cunning. He managed to enter to realize that the place where his daughter was living was a real disgusting, with lots of bottles of alcohol, cigarette butts even feminine clothes scattered everywhere.

As fast as he could take photos of the place, he knew well that the boy had gone to find his phone to call the police. After having all the possible evidence he said a couple of words to her.

-I don't know what you were going to achieve with all this, but I assure you that she will not stay like this for a long time- he looked at him with much hatred

-I have the evidence and the contacts while you have nothing to gain, you better go unless you want to answer to the officers- I seriously threaten

-I just came to tell you that and to check that my little daughter was in a decent place- he went to the exit

-She will never be your daughter because you did not conceive her, you will not know that she is being a mother or anything like that- he said with a mocking tone

-I see that we need to learn a little, the true family is the one that raises you, not the one that brings you into the world- he replied -if we see it that way then she will never recognize you as her father-.

Without more to say he withdrew leaving him confused and since he was someone quite stupid, he was calm thinking that he had everything to win. The girl rushed to go to the prosecution to present the evidence and perhaps with that to get the hearing early.

Meanwhile the minor was still lifeless inside the bedroom of her baby, nor did she realize that her girlfriend had left. It was not until he heard someone return and go to where she was when he saw her he could tell that he had something to say to her. When he heard everything, he could not believe it, there was a possibility of recovering the little one from her and finally from her.

But they had to be patient and wait until the day of the new summons, if they acted earlier they would raise suspicions. They promised themselves that from that moment on they would be stronger for the sake of her daughter, they needed to bring her back home.

The day had come, that day they could bring back the little ray of light from her, and from that day they would go back to being the family they always should have been. For a few moments, they could see her there she was she looked thinner.

They wanted to hug her so that they could feel her warmth in her arms, they knew that she would go with them today so that allowed them to hold back, but in order not to raise suspicions they approached to shake her a little with a lot of love.

They entered the courtroom where the trial would take place again, everything started as before. The witnesses were called to testify and when they believed that this would end up favoring the father again, it was not like that. Some photos appeared on the screen which proved that the environment where the baby was being raised was not the right one. Also, they called a key witness who had also been the boy's former partner and who testified in what conditions she lived.

She couldn't do anything else, everything had gone against her. It was a matter of seconds in which the judge declared that the care of the little girl would go back to her mother and that her father would be banned from that position along with that he would have to pay alimony.

Both women were crying with joy, her little one would return with them at last they would be with the family as it always should be. They decided to have an intimate meal with the people they wanted to celebrate the return of their girl in addition to making an important announcement. They had decided to start the procedures for Auri to be registered with the last name of her other mother. Everyone was delighted by that news because that is how it should always have been.

That night the three of them slept together, finally, after a long time, they could feel that relief and peace in their lives. From that moment they knew that everything would start to be much better, it had been a very emotional day so they fell asleep almost instantly with a smile.

<Our family nothing and nobody will be able to break it, we will always be united> -they whispered to each other before falling asleep-
