Act 19

After her wedding and her honeymoon, a couple of months passed where her little daughter would soon arrive. They had everything ready to receive her, they had received several gifts for the baby shower. Also for their part, they bought most of the things, they did not want to depend on anyone regarding their future baby.

It was a quiet day when she was in her small workshop preparing some designs when she suddenly felt a strong contraction at the same time that she saw a transparent liquid slide down her legs. I do not hesitate to scream, but his wife had left for work and would not arrive until later, which meant she would have to go to the hospital herself.

He called a taxi while he left a voice message on WhatsApp for his wife, took the necessary things, and went on his way to the clinic. Thank the gods she arrived quickly and she was taken care of immediately, she felt very nervous but being completely alone. Her nerves disappeared as soon as she saw her partner arrive, that relieved her a lot and she could see that the poor thing she looked very agitated for having run a kind of marathon there.

The next few hours seemed like an eternity, being in labor was very exhausting she felt that she would pass out at any moment until finally, they heard the cry of a baby. After they cleaned and covered her well they gave them to her, they fell in love with how small and beautiful she was. The name of her that she would have would be Aurora, but affectionately they would call her Auri. Her luminous miracle, which filled her life.

Everyone in the following days went to visit little Auri, they wanted to meet her and she really caused love as well as tenderness to all who saw her. They were grateful that she looked so much like her mother.

And as expected, her wretch appeared wanting to claim rights over her little girl, however, her mothers would not give him that pleasure, she did not deserve it. They let her stay at a safe distance until she couldn't bear the despair anymore and she withdrew with her wounded pride.

In his mind he told himself that this would not stay that way, he had as much right to her daughter as her mother and if he had to take her by force he would. He didn't care about anything but just his selfish feelings, of wanting to hurt more than he had already done.

For the moment everything was quiet they had their little family and nobody bothered them, they were happy very happy. They felt blessed with so much, although it seemed little. They didn't need more because they had everything between the three of them.

However, his happiness lasted very little, a few months after he had his little daughter, the father filed a lawsuit for custody of the girl. That affected them a lot, they did not know what to do if they did not prepare well they would lose what they loved the most in their lives and if that happened it would destroy them completely.

They decided to hire a lawyer to help them with the case, they had to show at all costs that they were the right ones to take care of the baby. They knew that it would be difficult for them to do so because the society they currently lived in was quite homophobic and it would be difficult for them to win the trial.

The weeks passed and the day came, they were very nervous, they had prepared everything to be able to win. They felt with faith that this would be the case, that they could continue to live as the family they had been until now, but they did not expect that man to come with witnesses who would cause them much harm, it was the family of our dear friend.

She couldn't believe how those people dared to testify against her, they were never supposed to betray her like that. She wanted to cry and scream, she felt that all of that was unfair. Because they had to take her daughter from her, she was the best one of her to take care of her, no one else could give her the love that her little girl needed from her.

The trial passed in tension, everyone was nervous about what could happen. After everyone presented their evidence and testimonies, the final decision of the judge arrived, both girls were scared by what could happen.

Hearing the words of the judge saying that her little girl would have to go with her father until a new trial destroyed them, it was not possible that they would do that to them. The youngest of the couple could not avoid collapsing to the ground because she felt that something was being ripped from her heart.

<I will get you back, my daughter, I promise I will not let them take you away from my side forever, I will not allow it.> - She cried in the arms of her partner while she watched as she took away what she loved most in life-
