Who Are You?

"Golden Aptitude?" Aiden muttured under his breath. He had to idea about what Mr White was talking about.

On the other hand, Mr White still had the look of disbelief on his face, as he questioned Ace. Ace, just like Aiden was also confused when he heard Mr White speak about golden aptitude.

Was it related to the golden light? Was the golden light a signal to some sought of ranking?

"Mr White, you should calm down and explain it to them!" Someone suddenly said behind them. He was one of the elders who were following Mr White.

"Oh yes! Em... cough... cough!" Mr White was about to speak when he took a glance at the students around and he noticed all of them watching him in surprise. Seeing this, he couldn't help but let out two slight coughs.

He actually overreacted. However, it couldn't be helped. After all having a golden aptitude to one's power was a huge thing!

"Cough... Actually, There is a ranking system drawn in place in order to help analyze student's talents. They are in this order from lowest to highest," Mr White coughed apologetically before turning to Ace to explain why he reacted the way he did.

"Iron(silver color), Bronze(brown color), Green, White, and finally golden! And as you have already guessed, the Magic Test Orb is used for measuring the aptitude people have with their powers, A.K.A their talents," Mr White explained.

"Oh, I see. Doesn't that mean..." Aiden mumbled.

"Yes, that is what it means. Ace is an extremely talented individual! He is even more talented than me. This can be see from the fact That I only managed to induce a green light in the orb when I was tested by my teacher!" Mr White explained.

"What? Mr White only managed to induce a green light in the Test Orb? Doesn't it mean that that guys has a stronger talent than that of Mr White?"

"Didn't you hear that yourself? Mr White said it himself! That guy is indeed talented than him!"

"It's no wonder Mr White would try to take him in as his disciple!"

"But This is too huge! Mr White was known to be a genius that only appears in a hundred years when he awakened. My parents still talk about his awakening up till now! I thought I wouldn't be able to see one of such geniuses in my life. I never expected to see one here!"

After Mr White explained the reason why he reacted this way, the entire stadium went silent for a moment before the students burst into an uproar.

They just couldn't help it. This was just too huge of an information to ignore. After all, Mr White was very well known as genius who appeared once every hundred years.

If this was the case then what would Ace be? A genius that only appeared once in every thousand years?

As everyone went into shock just from the fact that Ace had one of the strongest talent, Aiden was pretty happy. Even though he wasn't the one who awakened the golden hue in the orb, He was still happy that Ace was able to awaken it.

After all, Aiden knew that there was alot of benefits that he could gain from this. Since Ace was so talented, he would just carry him through as they level up and become strong. He could simply do this without doing any work.

He would be given all the important materials for cultivation just because his best friend induced a golden hue in the Test Orb. Just thinking about this made Aiden's hair stand in sheer excitement. If Ace knew what was going through his head, he would have committed blood in anger by now.

"Mr White can I use the Test Orb on my friend?"

Just as Aiden was thinking about was to exploit his friends new found strength, be heard Ace's voice near him.

"HM!"

Mr White nodded amicably, looking at Ace as if he was his own son.

"Okay! Aiden here test it out!" Ace said as he casually threw the orb towards Aiden.

Catching the orb, Aiden immediately felt a suction force coming from it seemingly taking something from him. However, he didn't feel it for long and everything went back to normal a moment later.

'This is what Ace meant by the suction force that nearly made him collapse? Seriously?'

Aiden thought as he set his sights on the orb seemingly waiting for the color he would induce.

When Ace told him about the suction force, he described it as a painful procedure but Aiden didn't feel anything much. Not even a tickle.

A few moments passed but nothing happened. It had been about five minutes but nothing happened.

"Is there something wrong with the orb?" Aiden asked doubtfully.

"No nothing is wrong. If the orb doesn't turn on after sometime, it can only mean one thing. You have no talent for your power. In other words, you haven't awakened any superpower yet!" Mr White explained as he cast his eyes towards Aiden. He looks absolute sorrowful as if something bad had happened.

'I didn't awaken? What is the meaning of that. Then why do I have a power source? Could it be that I was wrong about my conjecture earlier?'

Aiden thought with a pale face.

Back in his spiritual space he thought that he had already awakened since he had a power source. However, it seems like his guess was completely wrong and he hadn't awakened anything at all! With this he could be considered a disgrace to all the transmigrated who came into a new world out there.

Most of them awakened cool system and nice superpowers but because of his negligence he was unable to awaken any superpower!

Perhaps, he is indeed the worst of the worst! Hah, and he thought he had awakened.

"What do you mean he didn't awaken any power?" Ace on the other hand was absolutely terrified as if he was the one who couldn't awaken any power.

"Don't worry. It can't be helped!" Aiden consoled as he patted his friend's shoulders.

"Aiden, could it be that you really didn't awaken any power?" Ace asked in surprise when he saw his friend's actions. Aiden just sighed, yet just as he was about to speak. He heard a voice.

"Hah, to think that the great Mr White would lie to a kid that he had no superpower!"

The voice was filled with sarcasm.

"Who are you?" Mr White immediately said as he surveyed his surroundings.
