The mission enden

"I think I will call this version a Yin-Yang warrior." Hideo reached both of his arms out as if he wanted to hug them. Two gigentic black energies formed their shapes on both of his hands. He clapped his hands together and said, "Death Wave."

The two energies clashed against each other and birthed a cataclysmic shockwave. Which uprooted the trees in his path and smashed rocks into little pieces.

Thanatos and Morgana did the only thing that was possible in order to dodge: they jumped in the air right into Hideo's trap. When he inhaled the Yin and Yang warriors, he fused them. Strength, speed, defense, and durability Hideo punched Thanatos midair in the face, and Thanatos crashed against the ground, leaving a crater behind. Before Morgana could react, Hideo grabbed her wrist and punched her in the back. Morgana fell to the ground, just like Thanatos did. Hideo wanted to finish her, but Thanatos had his deathsycle at Hideo, which missed about a hair wide. Thanatos tackled Hideo away from Morgana and got into close combat. He punched him in the face, grabbed him by the shoulders, and kneed his shoulder. Hideo dissolved himself into gray smoke and reshabed again. With his unimaginable speed, Hideo appeared behind Thanatos and delivered a devastating kick towards Thanatos temple.

Thanatos collapsed; he lay on the floor, unconcerned, waiting for his defeat.

Right when Hideo wanted to stomp Thanato's head, Morgana stabbed him in the leg. Hideo became gray smoke and reshaped 5 meters next to her.

BAAMMM!

A rock that was bigger than a truck fell from the sky. Thanatos was still uncooperative, and Morgana had to fight. She moved the sphere in front of her as if it were a wall. Yet she underestimated Hideo's speed, the palm of his hand catching her off-guard with a vicious slap. Morgana was thrown backward and crashed her face into a tree. She knelt on the floor and was ecstatic as her mouth filled with the iron taste of blood. She spat the blood, painting the ground under her red, and collapsed.

"That's it. Death Art: Flaming- AHHH!" Hideo was stabbed from his ass up to his mout with a green-black spike. Thanatos awoke just in time and hit Hideo, but Hideo somehow managed to regenerate himself and reshape himself again, but to his worst-case scenario. He reshaped right into one of Morgana's spheres. Morgana was still uncooperative, but he was still trapped. Hideo slammed against the inside of the sphere and screamed something, but no sound came out. He hammered against its inside with his hands and legs, but nothing worked; he was trapped inside the safest prison that existed.

Thanatos took Morgana on his back and rushed back to the cave, hoping that he could do something. But the sky above the cave formed pitch-black clouds, spinning like a whirlwind. The vortex came closer and closer to the earth; it looked like a tornado of pitch-black clouds would form. Thanatos refused to stop and ran straight for the tornado. He rushed inside with Morgana on his back. He fought against the wind but felt something clearly. Death energy is the same energy that is realized when a grim reaper is born. Only grim reapers have a chance to survive that, along with the mother of the child. He fell to the ground and stood up again and again. However, when he finally got to the entrance of the cave, the tornado dissipated, and inside the cave, Haruka lay unconscious on the ground.

"Please don't say that.", "It's too late; Hideo won; she is a grim reaper." Morgana regained consciousness and barely managed to get the words out. She was awake again the moment Thanatos entered the storm, but too weak to say anything. She gave Thanatos a sign to let her down; her face hurt so much that she couldn't talk properly. These few words were already hard for her to get out.

Thanatos walked slowly towards the unconscious Haruka and picked her up. Morgana saw Taro lying on the ground of the cave, not too far away from his master.

"No way, Thanatos, hurry up; he somehow survived all that." The dog managed to achieve something impossible right now: he survived the death aura of a grim reaper. She picked him up and rushed him out of the cave. Both of them rushed as fast as they could in order to get to a place where they could trait the dog, but then Morgana pulled on Thanatos suit and said, "You can slow down, look." Morgana had to fight against the pain in order to get these words out.

Thanatos didn't understand but trusted his partner and looked at the dog. "Wait, did he also become a grim reaper?" Morgana nodded; she had no idea how that was possible, but he became a grim reaper and survived it.

"Let's get back to Memento and report what happened. Hideo is in one of your spheres; bring him with us." Morgana noticed that Hideo was really in one of her spheres; she had no idea how it happened, but she was not in the mood to think about that now. She was wounded, and she was sure that Thanatos was too. He wouldn't show it, but she witnessed for herself how his legs slowly began to shake.

From his pocket, Thanatos drew a wooden fragment with an intricately engraved skull. He broke the wooden fragment with his bare left hand, and soon they found themselves in front of the Gravestone clan's gate. Thanatos walked through the gate and inside. He walked towards his mother, who stood in the front yard.

"Mother, we failed our first mission."
