Thriving Pt. 1

(Time Skip- 2 Month)

In just two month Xu Xiuying had made, what he considered leaps and bounds in his progress in getting stronger before he left the {Kinanru Gardens}. In just over two months since Xu Xiuying arrived in this new world, Xu Xiuying could not have had a better start to a new chapter in his life. From increasing his stats, cultivating, getting better weapons, and earning combat experience from the variety of beasts from the forest.

In the 1st week after Xu Xiuying had chosen where he would make his temporary home Xu Xiuying had fought several other wild animals that littered the {Kinanru Gardens} among them being a {Horned Saola} resembling a regular Saola but with horns that were almost always more than three feet long, a {Navy-Bellied Hound} that looked like regular hounds with the exceptions of their blue bellies and odd colored coats, and {Centibee’s} structure looked like that of a regular centipede except they had the color yellow and black from a honey bee and its ability to produce honey to the delight of Xu Xiuying.

Then there was the exploration of other sections of {Kinanru Gardens} that Xu Xiuying did not see in his first trek through the rainforest. Xu Xiuying even managed to catch glimpses of the three biggest threats to himself at his current stage. Catching a glimpse of the {Birman-Boar} tearing through a pack of {Navy-Bellied Hounds} that seemed to think outnumbering the {Birman-Boar} would allow for an easy victory. Then Xu Xiuying only caught glimpses of the {Rocky Ape} as its heavily foliated spot of the rainforest made it hard to spot but from the small glimpses Xu Xiuying caught of the {Rocky Ape}. Xu Xiuying knew that its biggest advantage was its element of surprise. Then came the {Colorless Ophidian} which posed the biggest threat to Xu Xiuying as he didn’t have anything to defend against its venom or the poison mist around the {Colorless Ophidian} territory.

And just to top off the cake Xu Xiuying made improvements to his lovely abode which he currently resided in. The hill which Xu Xiuying had made his temporary home had first been cleared of foliage to make sure if a threat was easier to be seen. After using the some of the wood Xu Xiuying got from the cleared foliage he used some of the {Horned Saola: Muscle Fibers} which were thick enough to tie together the wood together which were then attached to five posts Xu Xiuying had placed in vicinity of his cleared space. Xu Xiuying then set to make himself a better home in the {Kinanru Gardens}.

Then came the second week with Xu Xiuying continuing his work from the first week. Xu Xiuying trekked to different areas of the {Kinanru Gardens} is search of finding better materials to build his home with. Among some of the material Xu Xiuying would use for his new home. With the material gathered Xu Xiuying would construct part of the home stop, continue working on something else whether it be training or material gathering, and then continue making progress with the construction. This followed for most of the second week; But just about the second half of the week Xu Xiuying found a flower called {Kniscus} which could be mushed into a paste and eaten giving the person who consumed it a resistance to poison which was key in fighting the {Colorless Ophidian}.

Realizing that if Xu Xiuying refined the effectiveness of processing the {Kniscus} Xu Xiuying would be able to increase the effects of the flower and, or even prolong the duration of the {Kniscus} to make it last longer. Which was what Xu Xiuying spent the better part of the final days of the second week looking for better ways to use the {Kniscus}. And after much trial and error Xu Xiuying finally found the best way was to heat water with his {Electrokinesis} and drop the {Kniscus} and stir it like soup. And after around five minutes Xu Xiuying would pour out the content into empty potion vials purchased from the {Shop} and cork them making {Kniscus Potions - Grade: Uncommon}, which Xu Xiuying could sell to the {Shop} and make some G as the ingredients were easy to acquire; And armed with the extra G Xu Xiuying could make better preparations to fight the territory beasts.

In the third week Xu Xiuying used varying tasks whether it be continued construction on his home, gathering materials, hunting, or cultivating. In the time he had apart from his tasks Xu Xiuying prepared for his eventual fight with the {Colorless Ophidian} knowing it would be better for him to over prepare than to be underprepared. Whether it be stocking on the {Kniscus Potions} and making some to just sell as Xu Xiuying wanted to make G so he could buy more equipment. And on the second to final day of the third week Xu Xiuying double checked his {Status} and the {Inventory} to make sure he was not missing to do anything before setting off to fight the {Colorless Ophidian}.
