Chapter 42: Black Market

The entrance to Black market of every city in kanto are made know to Team Rocket soldiers so it was very convenient. After reaching the designated place he found an old beggar sitting outside an old shaby looking shack. He gave a 1000 Alliance coins to the beggar and showed his Team Rocket watch due to which the Old beggar let him in.

Going in the run down shack he found and old woman and an Alakazam waiting for him. He put on a Face mask to hide his identity and immediately Alakazam teleported him inside the underground Black market. This market was literally underground of Saffron City.

Reaching the Black market Kaede could see all sorts of shops and stuff. but what made him uneasy were the Pokemon that were for sale here. There eyes looked dim as if they had lost there will to live. Looking at these Pokemon Kaede swore "if in the future i have enough power i promise no other Pokemon will go through what you are going through". The Pokeball on his waist also vibrated as if to agree to him.

Ridding his head of these thoughts Kaede looked through various stalls trying to find a Ditto. At this moment he had 700000 Alliance coins and he knew a Ditto would be for atleadt 5 to 600000. He did find some Dittos here but they were all not to his liking.

At the end of the road there was stall where an arbok was placed in a Glass container constantly trying to break the glass but was enable to do it. Making his way to this stall Kaede was about to ask if the old man sitting there had a Ditto when out of nowhere the Arbok suddenly transformed into a Geodude and used his punch to try and break the glass which was also not successful. The Pokemon inside this Container was Ditto.

"It looks pretty good." Looking at Ditto who was trying to destroy the cage, his eyes lit up, and he thought secretly. Reaching near the cage to look at this Ditto which intrigued him he was about to talk to it when this Ditto tranformed into Arbok and coiled itself to attack him

Seeing the Ditto who turned into Arbok and its baring fangs in front of him, his eyes flashed in blue glow, using the detection ability of the system to detect Ditto at this time.

(In this fanfic, author has set that Ditto can only have the Ability that Pokémon will have in its own level. For example, if the Level Level 15 Ditto Transform into Arbok, then he can only moves that a Arbok would have while it level 15, as for Hereditary Ability and the Ability learned through other methods, it is impossible to possess.)

While he was thinking this Ditto was trying to relentlessly attack him but glass container stopped it.
