As Jake sat in the control room of his colossal spaceship, he couldn't help but feel a pang of frustration as the lead robot pilot informed him of the lack of data in the ship's map system.
"No data? Ah crap, How is that even possible?"
he exclaimed, slapping his own head in disbelief at his oversight.
' I thought the ship would have the map included in it' Jake thought.
It was a rookie mistake, one that he knew he should have caught earlier.
Jake wasted no time in accessing the system's shop feature once again, his fingers flying across the controls as he searched for a solution. He soon came across the universal maps, complete with details about the economy, borders, and resources of various systems and planets. However, the exorbitant price tag left him reeling. "Looks like I'll have to settle for something a little less fancy," he muttered to himself, scrolling through the options until he found a general map of the universe that fit within his budget.
With a sense of relief, Jake made the purchase, a chip materializing before him.
He handed the chip into pilot1's hand and he entered it into a port.
Soon after a holographic display appeared and Jake studied it intently.
"Well, at least now we won't be flying blind," he remarked, nodding in satisfaction as he familiarized himself with the layout of the cosmos.
But navigating the vast expanse of space was only half the battle. Jake knew that communication was key to their success, which is why he wasted no time in purchasing a standard communication device used by citizens throughout the universe.
"This looks like a fun toy and it's round too, maybe it has a hologram display."
he quipped, attaching the device to his belt with a satisfied grin.
With the essentials taken care of, Jake turned his attention to another crucial aspect of space travel: finances. Creating a fake bank account using the system, he added a modest balance of 10,000 Enas, enough to cover any unexpected expenses they might encounter along the way. "Gotta keep those cash rolling in," he remarked, tapping away at the controls with a newfound sense of purpose.
Suddenly he received a notification.
[Currency generated 1000 points has been reduced from the player.]
"Whaa.." Jake sat in his seat without any movements looking at the notification.
He was not happy, but ultimately unable to do anything about it too.
"Okay it's like a currency exchange and it's a good rate to...." Jake said to himself trying to process the event.
It took Jake some while to come back to his normal self, but he reached there.
As the preparations neared completion, Jake couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement coursing through him. "Looks like we're ready to take on the universe, folks," he declared, addressing his robot crew with a confident grin.
But there were no reactions from them.
'I gotta bring my clones out this shit is really boring' Jake thought.
"Next stop: Juberly hub!"
With the leader robot pilot on standby and the ship's systems primed for departure, Jake settled into his seat in the control room, anticipation bubbling within him as they prepared to set course for their destination. "Let's hope this map is worth the price," he remarked, his fingers hovering over the controls as he awaited the go-ahead from the pilot team.
Finally the ship took off from the ocean and burst out of the atmosphere of the planet.
"How long will it take to reach Juberly Hub?" Jake asked to the captain.
"It will take at least 7 days, sir" Pilot1 said in his robotic voice.
Jake got up from his chair and left the control room and went to another room.
From the size of this room it looked like it was a storage room.
As Jake delved into the system's shop with the fervor of a kid in a candy store, he couldn't resist the allure of acquiring abilities reminiscent of his favorite X-Men characters.
"Mystique, huh? Maybe I'll finally be able to pull off that blue skin look," he quipped to himself with a smirk, already envisioning the mischief he could get up to with such a power.
Without a second thought, he parted ways with a chunk of his points to purchase the shapeshifting ability, eager to explore its potential.
With a mischievous glint in his eye, Jake wasted no time in upgrading the newfound ability to its maximum level. "Level 3, baby! Time to take this shape-shifting gig to the next level," he exclaimed with a grin, imagining the endless opportunities for pranks and impersonations that lay ahead.
He took his time to change into individual from his past life.
He turned into....[data not found]
....
Jake's attention turned to another crucial skill for his interstellar adventures: translation. Recognizing the importance of being able to communicate with beings from across the universe, he spared no expense in acquiring the translation skill, despite its hefty price tag. "Time to break down the language barriers," he remarked, his excitement mounting as he contemplated the vast array of languages he would soon be able to understand effortlessly.
Though the cost was significant, Jake found solace in the fact that the translation skill was already at its maximum level. "At least I won't have to worry about leveling this one up," he mused, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him as he prepared to test out his newfound linguistic abilities.
I hope everybody enjoyed the chapter.....
I know this is a small chapter but I promise I will improve it in the next one.
