Arrival

The morning came when Lander felt his chest was heavy and his wounds were aching.

He slowly opened his eyes and was stunned to see a beautiful woman lying her head on his chest.

Aside from that, his one hand was touching a squishy thing that was so comforting. It was Elizaveta's breast. Knowing this, the pain he just felt vanished in an instant transformed into an outmost desire. His junior who was already awake was now very agitated ready to explore a cave.

Lander acted like it was nothing as he started doing a light exercise. He didn't dare to do exhausting training as he's body hasn't fully recovered. Then he ordered the others to join him so they would forget about the things that just happened.

After the training, Lander asked how they met him. Yan Yan was the one who explained.

When Lander told them to run when they were about to be surrounded, Grey led them and they just followed him. They were almost caught but because Yan Yan already experienced the essence of fighting, she fought back and manage to hurt two of the elites who were chasing them.

Elizaveta who was still inexperienced in fighting tried her best to fight back and manage to land hits on her enemies.

While Grey was running around biting the elites giving them agonizing pain.

Because of that, they managed to survive and continued running when Grey started sniffing the ground searching for Lander.

Although both Yan Yan and Elizaveta can't order Grey, they knew that Grey was doing his best locating Lander so they just followed him.

Lander praised them for using the things he taught them. Especially Yan Yan who has learned the most from him was now showing the results of her diligence and perseverance.

Afternoon came when they continued travelling towards Wyvern Capital. And on their way, they didn't use the main road but stayed on the sidelines afraid to catch another attention that would put them in danger.

Expectedly, the four arrived at the main entrance of the Wyvern Capital without any hustle.

The Wyvern Capital was surrounded by a majestic wall. And from the outside you can see a towering palace reaching high up touching the sky. It was like a sky scraper but the design was different as it was mainly made with bricks.

In front of the entrance was a long line of people entering the capital.

Lander led the group towards the entrance heavily surrounded by armoured guards. There outfit looked like the Persian warriors with a logo of a Wyvern Dragon carved on their armours.

And in front of the guards was a table being managed by a woman who has also an exceptional beauty. She was writing something before letting the people inside.

The people entering, before they proceed were being thoroughly checked by the guards. Even their goods were not exempted.

And Lander also noticed that after they were checked, some were leaded directly at the capital and there were people escorted directly at the side of the capital.

Lander and his group joined the line and just stayed silent for the whole time not attracting any attentions.

Soon they managed to arrive at the table. Lander glanced at the woman, "Excuse me, but are you a fairy?"

The woman spared him a glance and answered with a British accent, "Why are you asking? And no, I'm not a fairy."

"No? But you exactly looked like a fairy," Lander said full of smiles.

The woman was stunned and laughed, "How daring for an outcast to flirt with me."

One of the guards noticed this so he moved forward and asked the woman, "Are there any problems?"

"He dares to flirt with me but he's useless," The woman replied while still laughing looking down on Lander.

The guard glared at Lander then went back to his position.

Lander shook his head slowly, "I'm not flirting with you. I'm just complimenting you're beauty."

The woman laughed mockingly, "An outcast isn't worthy to compliment me. Here's your pass and follow that outcast as he'll guide you to the suburbs."

Lander shrugged, took the piece of bronze token and was about to move on, "Wait! Is that a Rank D beast?"

The woman stopped him pointing at Grey. She was very interested to the cub and wanted to buy it, "How much is that beast worth? I'll buy it."

"Sorry, not for sale!" Lander answered uninterested. Since he was looked down by this woman, he has no interest in talking to her anymore.

"Five golds and you can work under me," The woman priced with confidence as she knew that any outcast would be willing to work for an elite. Moreover, to work for a beauty such as herself.

"Not interested!" Lander said with a nonchalant expression.

The woman was getting angry upon hearing him and seeing how he acted so she shouted, "Stop! Or else I will let the guards kill you."

"Oh kill me? Really? Do you dare to?" Lander looked back at the woman with confidence in his eyes.

The guards were startled and surrounded him quickly. One of the guards stepped up, "You lowly outcast, are you trying to cause a commotion here?"

"Commotion? Me? If you want to kill me then do it." Lander said provokingly clenching his fists. Yan Yan also started her posture while Elizaveta was skeptical if she would help or not. Grey was also growling, staring at the guards with merderous intent.

"A bunch of weaklings!" The guard who stepped up casted a fire ball heading towards Lander. But before Lander could evade, one buffed man wearing a golden armour with the same design on his armor stopped the fire ball in midair.

"Foolish!" The buffed man shouted angrily at the guard. Then he threw a look of resentment towards the woman.

"Sire? Why?" The guard was afraid.

"Why? Can't you feel the aura of this young man? He is under the protection of the Captain of the eunuchs of the emperor, the Great Duke Bobby." The buffed man answered angrily.

The guards was shocked. Even the young woman was frightened upon hearing the words of the buff man. Then they squinted their eyes and checked Lander's aura. It indeed contained the aura of the Great Duke Bobby.

All the crowds were aghast. But the guard and the woman were trembling with fear. If they only checked his aura first, then they wouldn't be in this position.

But why would they checked the aura of Lander? He was just an outcast unworthy to be special so no elite would take interest in him.

That kind of thinking proved them wrong as reality hit them hard. They heard about Great Duke Bobby who was a magnanimous person. He wasn't an elite who looked down on people because of their identity. He was even friendly to some of the outcasts and were helping them in his own ways. Sometimes, he even gave his wages to the outcasts.

They never imagined that Lander was under the protection of the Captain of the eunuchs.

Lander was confused hearing all the conversations, "Excuse me? But wasn't Elder Bobby a Baron? And he's a fucking eunuch?"

Lander laughed quite amused imagining a scene in his mind if he ever met Elder Bobby again.

Hearing how Lander addressed the Captain of the eunuchs as Elder, they are now assured that Lander and Great Duke Bobby were on friendly terms.

The buffed man who stopped the attack of the guard twitch his lips looking at Lander who was grinning from cheek to cheek, "Excuse me young man, but how can I address you? And what's your relationship with the Great Duke?" The buffed man asked politely.

"If only people would be as polite as you. The world would be enjoyable to live in. As for my name, just call me Lander sire and this young Japanese girl is Yan Yan while the woman beside her is the Russian beauty named Elizabeth and the last but not the least, Grey our buddy." Lander introduced gleefully showing respect to the buffed man.

"And I don't have any relationship with Elder Bobby. He helped me in times of trouble and he's easy to get along with. But if you're referring to the another kind of relationship. Sorry! But I ain't into men, I'm into women." Lander said casually and glanced at the woman who wanted to buy Grey. He winked at her.

The buffed man laughed, "I'm starting to like you young man."

"As I've just said sire, I'm not into men. I'm into women," Lander spoke casually looking at a group of people moving towards them.

Hearing the words spoken by Lander, the people who were around can't help but chuckle. But soon they stopped when they saw the buffed man twitching his lips embarrassed.
