Chapter 40 - light 1

While Everyone was looking at the monitor Arve was examining Maeisha.

'So this is the new addition to their group. He will have to inform the rest of the group of what is going on. How is it possible that the sprites have started to appear beside her so soon?' He thought looking at the lights caressing and dancing around her.

Others didn't notice and thought that these lights were normal during a wing bonding process. Only he knew that these lights were not a part of the process but were here because of Maei. The lights were congregating around Maei while the rest of the wing didn't have as much around them.

Even then it surprised Arve.

'She has a much bigger plan for Maei and her wing if She is already sending sprites to mark them.' He thought and started to prepare and make plans to make sure he could support Maei when the time came.

Maei is going to need all the help she could get when She called on her. He would have to come talk to her as soon as they finish the bonding process. Maei needs to know who she is and be introduced to the group a lot sooner than they had anticipated.

A loud beep sounded from Sol's ear comm. as he was called by Nikka about a first year. It seems that this year's first years are not going to have any other wings formed and were going to be scrapped.

"Sol go take care of your school. Nessa will handle everything here with Rhys's help. The bonding process is going to take time. The fog around them is still dense, only when it starts to get thin will they start to get conscious."

"Yes sir!" Sol saluted and received the order while at the same time told Nessa to inform him as soon as the fog starts to thin out.

As Sol left the people from the Research Base walked over to Arve and saluted to him.

"Sir!"

Cristyn Sealy the head of the base under Arve came and saluted to him. She was called over to document the first Wing Bonding Process of The Empire and to get as much information possible without disturbing the kids.

"Good you all have come. Nessa is in charge, make sure to inform her of any step you will be taking. The kids are deep in the bonding process and won't be disturbed if you want to send a probe inside to measure and identify the fog energy around them. Just make sure to be as quiet as possible and to control your team's excitement."

He said looking at the people behind her who were already looking everywhere but at him. He shook his head as he knew how these people got excited and sometimes needed to be controlled so that they don't wreck the process in their need of new information.

"I will make sure Sir, please don't worry." She said also looking at her team behind and had them assemble the equipment needed.

Arve stayed for a while longer as he himself wanted to see the energy level around them. Though he and his group already knew that the energy within these 'lights' She sends are different they hadn't had a chance to measure them yet.

"Chloe remove the probe and see if it is working. Sir we invented a new probe. It doesn't only tell the energy level around but also how potent and pure it is. Mona is trying to use this probe to direct the energy around us to form a room where people could undergo breakthroughs much more easily. Not only that if a person meditates inside you would see the effects much quicker than meditating in a normal room. It is almost done. They just need to have it tested."

Cristyn explained pointing at a short red headed girl who was assembling the probe to send inside the training room. Arve nodded as he had already known about this but didn't know that they were close to completion.

The Probe was a small black dome with spikes coming out above and wheels underneath to steer it inside manually.

"The black dome is made of the new material you found before Sir. We found that it is malleable and has high energy absorption. We tried other materials but it didn't work as well and accurately as it does with this material. We modified the probe with wheels to make sure we could send it in without disturbing the kids inside when your call came to us."

Mona explained as she slowly and very quietly opened the hatch of the training room a little before setting the probe down. Chloe then used the device in her hand to slowly guide the probe inside.

"Guide it towards Maei first before sending it to the center." Arve ordered as he wanted to see if the energy was any different from the energy around the rest of the wing.

Chloe nodded and steered the probe closer to Maei.

Rhys and Lorcan held their breath and watched as the probe got closer to Maei. As the probe got closer the monitor started to beep. A tiny ball of light had been attracted by the probe and was floating above it.

Mona quickly used the portable keyboard and typed the command to identify the energy and Chloe stopped the probe.

Everyone waited with bated breath for the results. Soon the monitor showed a grid about the information of the ball of light.

"Blessed Heavens!!"

Mona and Chloe exclaimed as they read the chart that was shown on the monitor.

"What?!"

Rhys and Nessa asked at the same time.

Arve looked at the information provided and clenched his fists in excitement.

'They were right.'

"The ball of light is the purest form of energy we have ever recorded."

"So what does that mean?" Lorcan inquired as these balls of lights were more around his sister than the others.

"You don't understand. We absorb energy from around us to run through our meridians repeatedly for breakthroughs and strengthing our body before it gets absorbed by our dantian. The higher the level of energy the more the dantian absorbs. You know that there are places with different levels of energy around our Empire. Like the Glowing Medlar forest in Saza. The energy is thick and almost forms a spiritual energy pool during some years and is protected by the Empire.

"It is the place with the highest form of energy level in our continent. We have measured the level over there and it reach a potency of purple level. But what Mona and Chloe means is that the ball of light is so potent that it cannot be measured by our level criteria. It means the potency level goes beyond Gold Level. If one is able to absorb it they will achieve an instant breakthrough in their levels."

Mona and Chloe nodded eagerly. That was what they meant but were too stunned to explain to everyone.

As for the rest, they were speechless as well!!
