Chapter 38 - Enlightment

As soon as Sol received the news from Nessa he ran to Alpha flight training room.

When he arrived he saw Nessa standing outside with Becca, Darren and Nikka making sure the students inside are not disturbed from their meditation.

"What the heck happened? How did they all gain insight from your speech?" Sol demanded as soon as he reached them.

Gaining insight was a good thing but if it happens suddenly and there was no one to protect them while meditating it could cause internal injuries and at worst degrade a stage.

When a person feels like they have gained insight they immediately find a meditation room or find someone they trust to protect them while they finish their enlightenment. Even a the slightest mistake could lead to a setback in their cultivation.

Even more peculiar was that they had never seen where the whole wing gained enlightenment together. They didn't know weather this was good or bad. All they could do was wait and hope there will be no mishaps.

"I don't know as well. All I did was show them the way of the warrior and told them about the first Head. I wanted to instill proper values of right and wrong to them, and don't know how this happened."

Nessa was very confused and worried as she had given this speech to Rhys's wing as well when they were under her but they hadn't shown such a phenomenon.

"Call Rhys and Lorcan over."

Sol commanded while he looked at the kids inside through the surveillance monitor. They were all sitting on the ground beside the benches and were in the lotus position tought to all kids when meditating. He hoped they will all be alright.

"Yes Master!"

Soon Rhys and Lorcan came running with blank faces. They were not informed why they were called just that Maei and her wing might be in trouble.

"What's the matter? Is Maei Ok?"

Lorcan anxiously inquired as he looked at Sol. Rhys was also very worried as to what could happen inside the school since no outside personnel was allowed in the school.

"Maei and her wing are having a group enlightenment. Nessa was giving the same speech that she gives when she begins her training so that the kids know the correct values of being a warrior. We don't know how this happened that all of them gained insights and are meditating right now. We are lucky that this was in the Alpha Training room and not the public one otherwise we wouldn't have been able to stop someone from interrupting them."

Lorcan and Rhys were unsettled after they heard this and looked at each other.

"What can we do to help?" Rhys asked.

"Call your wing and have them surround the training room so that one doesn't disturb them accidentally while at the same time make sure no one comes inside."

"Sir perhaps we could call my grandfather or the Head as they might have an idea." Rhys suggested while he dialed his wing mates through his pad. He had a feeling that everything was going to be okay but at the same time it would be better to understand what this was.

Sol looked at Rhys and thought that might be a good idea since they didn't have any inkling of what was happening and his second brother has always been freakishly knowledgeable. They might know something about it or if something similar happened in the past.

"Ok. I am leaving the place to you guys while I go connect with them."

"Yes Sir!"

Sol left them and hurried to his cabin while dialling his brother and father through his ear comm. to have a video comm.

He reached his cabin just as his comm. monitor beeped signalling that he had an incoming transmission. He closed the cabin hatch and set the privacy to maximum before answering the call.

The transmission connected and soon he could see two faces on the monitor.

Awstin Griffin is the head of the Griffin family as well as the fifth minister of the Empire. He was a tall man with a strict bearing that said he didn't like to talk or listen to nonsense.

The other man was the current head of The Empire, Arve Griffin. He was a gentle man who an aura that he had seen and experienced much for him to surprised about anything new.

"Son what is going on that you contacted us with such haste and no warning. Is everything alright at school?"

"Is it the Purists brother?"

Both simultaneously questioned without letting Sol have a word in edgewise but there was no time to banter. There was a serious problem he needed their help with.

"There is a situation we have no idea what to do with. There is a wing that is undergoing group Enlightenment. We need to know what to do or if such a phenomenon has happened before."

His father was stunned into silence while his brother was having a thoughtful expression.

"How is this possible? A collective wing enlightenment. I have never heard or seen such a thing. I am coming over."

Before Sol could say anything his father disconnected, already on his way over. He looked to his brother speechlessly.

"Brother is this Maeisha's wing?"

When his younger brother asked this he was shocked. How did he know?

Looking at his brother's expression Arve confirmed that it is her wing. He had expected this of Maei but didn't think it would happen so early. He needed to talk and warn her.

"Brother don't worry, I will look through the records and find if something like this has happened before. Even If I don't find something I will come over as well and see if I could be of any assistance."

"Ok I will wait for you."

Sol then ended the transmission only having more questions than answers when he called for help.....
