Chapter 3 - Space 1

This space was a little dark, and it was surrounded by grassland, which seemed rather barren.

There was a bamboo cottage near her and a spring in front of it. There was a beautiful little fox who seemed to have walked out of the painting, next to the spring.

The fox, who was about the size of a little dog, had a body full of short white fur and blue eyes. The fox had nine tails and the tail tips were red. He was a normal fox before meeting Lin Moqi but after a chance encounter his dormant bloodline was brought forward and he evolved into a nine tailed fox.

He was seated next to the spring in boredom. The fox was stunned the moment Lin Momo appeared.

In the next moment, the fox called out in surprise and darted towards Lin Momo like a small cannonball.

Lin Momo's current body was now of a young girl.

Besides, she had just experienced a drowning and was thus extremely feeble.

After the little fox bumped into her, Lin Momo fell onto the ground with her buttocks landing first.

However, the fox had already burst into tears and begun howling.

"Master, you've finally woken up! It's been almost a thousand years, and I finally get to see you again!" Qi Bo sobbed.

Qi Bo was a little fox saved by Lin Momo from people who had wanted his snow white fur when she had gone down to the mountain for training. They then signed a master-servant contract with each other.

Although they were master and servant, they seemed to have become closer than family after spending a long period of time with each other.

In order to stay with Lin Momo forever, Qi Bo turned himself into the form of an ancient bracelet with her help.

The ancient bracelet turned into Qi Bo's main body, and the fox in front of Lin Momo was Qi Bo's spirit.

Lin Momo was in pain after Qi Bo knocked into her.

However, the pain seemed to have disappeared amidst Qi Bo's aggrieved weeping.

He missed her dearly.

"Qi Bo, have I been in a coma for a thousand years?"

"To be exact, 1,001 years! Master, you've really returned! When you were in the middle of the tribulation, your soul had shattered. I did all I could and tried my best, and managed to keep your soul from being dispersed."

Qi Bo blinked after crying and stared at Lin Momo.

"Huh? Master, why are you sitting on the ground?"

Lin Momo stood up quietly, holding onto Qi Bo's soft little paws with ripples in her heart.

She felt a pain in her heart.

When her soul was shattered, she wondered if someone would save her. However, she never thought that Bo would be the one to save her!

Bo was a companion whom she had coincidently saved back then!

"I was gone for more than a thousand years…"

She was tiny and looked rather delicate and adorable.

However, Qi Bo's eyes were filled with sorrow after hearing Lin Momo's words.

Lin Momo stood still with reddened eyes, clenching her fists tightly. She took a deep breath and suppressed the pain in her heart.

The most important thing for her now was to see the cultivation talent of the body she was currently in. Only then could she survive in this world.

The current world didn't practice spirit cultivation but martial body cultivation. Those who cultivated martial body were called warriors.

For people with good talent they would be able to condense their martial spirit before the age of ten.
